摘要： A method for producing and/or processing a nonwoven glass fabric web includes thermally drying the nonwoven glass fabric web via infrared radiation from an infrared radiation dryer. A specific power density of at least 153 kW/m2 is applied by the infrared radiation dryer to the surface of the nonwoven glass fabric web facing toward the infrared radiation dryer. After the irradiation by the infrared radiation dryer, the nonwoven glass fabric web has a temperature of at least 40° C. and at most 105° C. on its surface facing toward the infrared radiation dryer.

摘要： A system and a method of manufacturing continuous glass filament fiberglass media comprises melting glass within a temperature controlled melter. Molten glass exits through a bushing plate with orifices of varying row configurations and orientations. The resulting fiberglass filaments are received on a rotating drum and sprayed with resin and aqueous solution. The resulting fiberglass mat is placed onto a let-off table then sprayed with aqueous solution before further processing.

摘要： A fabric, such as a loop fastener material, is finished by applying a foam to a surface of the fabric, the foam containing both a liquid binder and a powder. The binder is allowed to flow into pores of the fabric and coat fiber interstices of the fabric as the foam collapses, and is dried to stabilize the fabric. The powder is of a particle size selected to cause most of the powder to remain on the surface of the fabric while the binder is dried to bond the powder to the fabric surface. The powder, as bonded to the fabric surface, is activatable, such as by heat or RF or UV energy, to adhere the stabilized fabric to another surface or to provide a desired surface property.

摘要： According to a method for applying an insulating layer to a surface fibers, of an inorganic material an sprayed onto the surface under simultaneous wetting of the fibers with water and/or a binder so that the fibers stick to the surface whereafter the layer is formed and dryed/hardened. Prior to or after the drying/hardening a binder can be sprayed to the surface for the purpose of achieving a dustless and mechanically resistant surface layer. A device for applying of an insulation to a surface of an object (10), making use of the method, comprises a store (41) of fibers of an inorganic material, a conduit (20) for the transfer fibers from the store (41) to a spray nozzle (21) and device for generating an air flow in the conduit (20) directed towards the nozzle (21). Further, the device includes a first ejector (22) provided at the end of the conduit facing the store (41) for introducing air jets into the conduit (20) in the direction of the fiber stream but at an inclination with respect to the stream, a second ejector (23) disposed at the end of the conduit facing the spray nozzle (21) for the introduction of air jets directed so as to bring the fiber stream into rotation, and a device (24) disposed adjacent to the spray nozzle (21) for introducing into the fiber stream, but outside of the spray nozzle, of liquid jets in the direction of the fiber stream but forming an angle with the stream, the liquid jets comprising a mixture of water and a binder.

摘要： A porous sheet of material is first passed through an impregnation bath containing a polymer solution and then through a coagulation bath which produces string-forming polymers physically incorporated in the pores of the sheet. The sheet is then passed between a relatively rigid vibrating means engaging one side thereof and a resilient pressure means engaging the opposite side thereof, the resilient pressure means holding the sheet of material in contact with the vibrating means. The sheet is subsequently dried.

At least two spray nozzles arranged consecutively on the perimeter of the annular discharge device are disposed so as to have an orientation with respect to the plane of revolution of the annular discharge device each with a different angle of inclination with respect to one another.
