摘要： A process for keeping coke oven chambers hot during the stoppage of a waste heat boiler. The coke oven chambers are kept hot after emptying using externally heated burners, in which a flue gas low in pollutants is obtained from the burners. The waste heat boilers which, during normal operation, cool the flue gases can be shut off and overhauled, and a flue gas low in pollutants which can be dissipated directly into the atmosphere is obtained by the burner operation. Also disclosed is an apparatus for keeping coke oven chambers hot, the apparatus has a coke oven chamber bench, a flue gas collection line, a flue gas chimney, a waste heat boiler, a waste gas collection line and a waste gas purification system, wherein the flue gas chimney and the waste heat boiler can be shut off on the flue gas side and on the waste gas side.

摘要： An industrial complex for producing charcoal from briquetted wood waste includes a section for heat carrier preparation, a section for ground wood waste preparation, a wood drying section equipped with a driving device, a briquetting section and a low-temperature pyrolysis section. The section for preparing the gaseous heat carrier is in the form of a heat generator and is equipped with a furnace chamber for receiving combustion gases, a unit for incinerating recovered pyrolysis gases and a unit for introducing the steam-gas mixture returned from the drying section. The section for ground wood waste preparation includes a receiving hopper for the feedstock, crushing and milling equipment and a storage hopper equipped with a batch feeder. The wood drying section is equipped with a drying device that operates in a mode of combined circulation in a suspended state of the steam-gas heat carrier and crushed wood. A section for separating the mixed stream exiting the drying device includes a cyclone and a receiving hopper. The pipeline upstream of the cyclone is equipped with a device for regulating the target moisture of wood particles. The separation section includes a flue for dispersing waste gases from drying. The briquetting section is equipped with an extrusion-type press. The section for low-temperature pyrolysis is equipped with devices for producing charcoal.

摘要： Processes for controlling afterburn in a reheater and loss of entrained solid particles in reheater flue gas are provided. Carbonaceous biomass feedstock is pyrolyzed using a heat transfer medium forming pyrolysis products and a spent heat transfer medium comprising combustible solid particles. The spent heat transfer medium is introduced into a fluidizing dense bed. The combustible solid particles of the spent heat transfer medium are combusted forming combustion product flue gas in a dilute phase above the fluidizing dense bed. The combustion product flue gas comprises flue gas and solid particles entrained therein. The solid particles are separated from the combustion product flue gas to form separated solid particles. At least a portion of the separated solid particles are returned to the fludizing dense bed.

摘要： In the cellar located below an underjet-type of battery of coke ovens are gas distribution pipes. A gas dispensing nozzle is located within each of the separate pipes which extend from a distribution pipe through the regenerators into the burners for a row of heating flues between two coking chambers. These nozzles are cleaned by injecting compressed air from a pipeline that extends parallel to the rich gas distribution pipe. A nipple opposite each nozzle interconnects the air pipeline and the gas pipe. The nipple receives a plug having either an orifice or a nozzle tube to direct compressed air toward the gas dispensing nozzle. A supply header for compressed air extends along the battery of coke ovens and this header is connected by a valve to each compressed air pipeline in the cellar. A controller responsive to a timer operates the valves during regenerative heating reversals for periodic cleaning of the gas dispensing nozzles with compressed air.
