    • A fire resistant wood door is formed from an opposing pair of rails interconnected by a upper and lower stiles forming an outer frame. A wood laminate core is provided within the outer frame and covered by outer sheathing. The wood laminate core is formed from first and second panels and a heat barrier layer. Each of the first and second panels is formed from an organic material and provided with a plurality of grooves on one surface. The heat barrier layer is in the form of a casting applied to the grooved surface of at least one, and preferably both, of the first and second panels. The panels are then joined together with the heat barrier layer sandwiched therebetween. When joined with the outer frame and sheathing, a wood door is formed having a fire rating of at least 45 minutes.

    • A settable fluid cementitious composition which is fluid for sufficient time to be suitable for use in a flexible container to provide support in a mine said composition comprises (i) Portland cement in an amount from at least about 8% preferably 10% (ii) a water soluble silicate in an amount from at least about 2% and (iii) water in an amount to provide a water to solids weight ratio of at least about 1.2:1 preferably at least about 1.5:1 and where the % are by weight based on the combined weights of (i), (ii) and (iii). The viscosity immediately after mixing the components together is sufficiently low that additional water can be incorporated. The composition may include (iv) a pozzolan in an amount from 2 to 35% by weight based on the combined weight of (i), (ii), (iii) and (iv).

The board is fabricated by forming a composition fabricated by mixing vegetational material, clay, a seaweed adhesive and a functional adhesive, and an auxiliary material at a ratio of 40null65:40null10:10null20:10null5 weight percent, and then throwing the composition into a hopper; withdrawing the composition received in the hopper so as to be passed between a pair of rollers and then molding the composition in a desired size; passing the composition between the rollers heated at a temperature of 100null300null C. and disposing paper or woven fabrics at upper and lower surface of the composition and then pressing the composition along with the paper or woven fabrics; and cutting the pressed composition in a desired size.
