摘要： A vehicular body and frame assembly includes a plurality of individual frame modules that can be selectively connected together to form customized assemblies. Each of the individual modules can be constructed in any desired manner. To connect the modules together, each module has cooperating first and second connecting structures provided thereon. The first connecting structures are designed to connect to the second connecting structures. For example, the first connecting structures may be formed as hooks provided on the lower portions of the frame modules, and the second connecting structures may be formed as pins provided on the lower portions of the frame modules upon which the hooks can be engaged. The frame modules can be connected together in this manner and pivoted to a mating position, wherein they can be positively retained together by bolts or other fasteners that extend between the mating frame modules.

Therefore, it is possible to prevent the front end panel (10) from being seriously damaged by impact forces produced in collision while preventing increases in both the number of parts and the man-hours required in assembling the front end structure and an increase in the repair costs for the front end panel because brackets, which are additional parts, can be discarded and, as a matter of course, notches to be provided to the brackets can be dispensed with.

摘要： An air-conditioning duct structure is included in a vehicular dash beam member. Material for the duct is made of a heat insulating and sound absorbing material and is adhered onto the surface of a sheet material for the beam member which is then bent into a semi-tubular shape so that the material for the duct is positioned inside thereby forming beam member bodies. Beam member bodies are combined by joining their joining surfaces that face each other to thereby form a tubular closed sectional shape. Achieving vibration attenuation, noise absorption and the heat insulating functions with an inner surface sheet member of an air conditioning duct is achievable. An air conditioning duct extending across a vehicle's width is formed by joining a metal reinforcing member and a resin cover. The sheet member is put between the reinforcing member and the cover.

The front hood has an internal inner hood and an external outer hood. The front hood has a stiffening zone which is supported directly or indirectly on a supporting element of the vehicle body when the front hood is closed. The outer hood has a lateral border region, the end edge of which is adjacent to the separating gap, at least one connecting web being provided via which the stiffening zone is connected to the border region of the outer hood. In order to improve the expansion behavior when a person impacts vertically onto the front hood, it is proposed that when the front hood is closed, the stiffening zone is supported laterally outwards on stop means which are fastened to the supporting element of the vehicle body.

摘要： A supporting pillar for a body frame of a passenger motor vehicle comprises a pillar-shaped hollow body with at least one profile shell. In the hollow body, a tubular body is arranged which essentially extends longitudinally through the hollow body and is attached to it. A lower region of the tubular body is held in a bracket attached to the profile shell. The bracket comprises two walls spaced apart from each other longitudinally. Each wall comprises a receiving aperture into which the lower region of the tubular body has been inserted, with the tubular body being attached at the receiving aperture to this bracket. The tubular body rests against, and is attached to the profile shell along a straight line, and is inclined in relation to a vertical line perpendicular to the walls of the bracket. The tubular body has an elbow between its lower region, and the region resting against the profile shell along the line.

摘要： A vehicle body front structure includes: a frame having a front frame and a floor frame joined together by a curved portion provided along a toe board, the front frame extending in a forward direction from the curved portion, the floor frame extending in a rearward direction therefrom; a side structure disposed transversely outwardly of the frame, respectively; and a closed-section torque box for joining the frame to the side structure. The frame and the side structure are joined to an upper surface of the torque box to be substantially horizontally relative to each other, and are also joined to a lower surface of the torque box which is formed in such a manner as to be oriented downwardly toward the side structure, to thereby increase the joint area of the torque box on a side thereof where the torque box is joined to the side structure.
