摘要： An impact printer having a roll platen on which a continuous paper is set and fed by the rotation of the roll platen rotated by a first motor, and a cut sheet is fed on the continuous paper by a feeding mechanism which includes feed rollers rotated by a second motor. When information is printed on the cut sheet, a controller drives a second motor and a first motor so as to feed the cut sheet and the continuous paper in the same direction. Since the continuous paper is fed synchronously when feeding the cut sheet during printing on the cut sheet, print elements impact on different positions of the continuous paper and the roll platen. Accordingly, impact traces on specific areas of the continuous forms and wearing of specific areas of the platen are prevented.

摘要： A paper guide mechanism for use with a printer of the type, in which a rolled paper inserted into an inlet opening and introduced by a guide into a printing portion and in which the paper is guided by a guide, after it has been printed, until it is discharged from a discharge opening. A printing device has its printing mechanism assembled into a unit which is accommodated in such a movable block as is rotatable with respect to the body of the printer. Moreover, one of guide plates forming a running path for guiding the paper is fixed to the lower end of the movable block. Thus, the rolled paper being guided through the running path can be easily exposed and accessed by turning or retracting the movable block.

摘要： A paper feed apparatus includes a plurality of guide ribs formed on a printer top cover disposed above a platen, the guide ribs being aligned along the axial direction of the platen, and a discharge roller is arranged between each pair of the guide ribs. Each discharge roller has its outer peripheral surface slightly extending toward corresponding guide ribs with respect to guide surfaces of these ribs and cooperating with the ribs to hold the printing paper. When the discharge rollers are driven in synchronism with rotation of the platen, the printing sheets are fed at a speed slightly higher than the paper feed speed of the platen. Therefore, the plurality of printing sheets can be simultaneously fed without causing a deviation therebetween.

摘要： A thermal printer comprises a base part, a platen roller and a thermal head oppositely arranged, a pickup roller, and a gear set connecting the platen roller and the pickup roller. The base part is provided with a printing paper accommodating cavity and a pickup roller mounting frame, a plurality of printing paper sheets are disposed in the printing paper accommodating cavity, and a clutch mechanism is further provided. The clutch mechanism comprises a driving portion driven by the gear set and a driven portion for driving the pickup roller to rotate. The driving portion is disposed outside the pickup roller mounting frame, such that the impact force, which is generated by the remaining printing paper sheet that falls down when the printing paper sheet departs from the pickup roller and which is transmitted to the platen roller, can be reduced. The thermal printer is capable of providing smooth printing.
