摘要： A container for consumer goods, such as smoking articles, has an outer housing with a hinged lid that houses an inner package of consumer goods. The inner package has an access opening that is covered by a reclosable flap, which is attached to a first lid panel that is relatively movable to a second lid panel throughout rotation of the lid between lid open and closed positions. The hinged lid is connected to the reclosable flap. The reclosable flap moves relative to the access opening during movement of the hinged lid. The reclosable flap carries an indicium such that the indicium is not visible when the lid is in the closed position and such that the indicium becomes visible during movement of the hinged lid from the closed position towards the open position at an intermediate position in which the reclosable flap covers the entire periphery of the access opening.

摘要： A substantially paper-based composite container for an off-gassing product includes a paperboard can body having a substantially gas-impervious liner attached to an inner surface thereof, and a pair of substantially paper-based end closures attached to the opposite ends of the can body, each end closure defining a generally cylindrical sealing panel in contact with an inner surface of the can body. Heat-sealable materials are disposed on opposing surfaces of the sealing panel and can body. The sealing panels of the end closures are attached to the can body by heat seals. The heat seal for at least one of the end closures is discontinuous such that at least one vent channel extends through the heat seal so as to establish fluid communication between an interior of the composite container and the environment outside the composite container. The at least one vent channel is operable to vent excess gas pressure from the interior of the container.

摘要： A blank has an upper surface and a reverse surface. The upper surface is printed in a conventional manner and includes outer side panels and inner side panels. Attachment regions are provided on the inner side panels of the outer surface, and corresponding attachment regions are provided on the outer side panels of the reverse surface. During assembly the respective attachment regions are arranged to face one another and an adhesive is provided therebetween. In the present method, the attachment regions of the upper surface initially have a surface tension in the range from around 34 dynes/cm to 60 dynes/cm before the upper surface is printed. The attachment regions are treated in order to maintain a surface tension in the desired range of 34 dynes/cm to 60 dynes/cm, following printing and before any adhesive is applied. This is achieved by applying an auxiliary printing medium to the attachment regions.

摘要： The present invention relates to a composite container comprising a bottom film layer and a top film layer at least partially adhered to the bottom film layer. The top film layer is scored to form at least one resealable flap and at least one pull tab which is not adhered to the bottom film layer. The bottom film layer comprises at least one cavity opening. A cardboard layer is adhered on its lower surface to the upper surface of the top film layer, wherein the cardboard layer has at least one cavity opening which is substantially aligned with the scoring of the top film layer resealable flap and the cardboard layer is perforated to define a perimeter of at least one pull tab which is substantially aligned with and adhered, on its underside, to the upper surface of the top film layer pull tab.

摘要： A folding station includes an inlet and an outlet and is predisposed to receive at the inlet a cardboard blank having two transversal edges, two longitudinal edges, two longitudinal score lines, and four transverse score lines. The two longitudinal score lines define therebetween a central sector and also define two lateral sectors externally of the two longitudinal score lines. Cuts in the two lateral sectors define a series of flaps. The folding station further comprises a conveyor for transporting the cardboard blank in an advancement direction to a position, a first folding bar located by a flank of a first side of the conveyor at the position, and a second folding bar located by a flank of a second side of the conveyor at the position. The first folding bar and the second folding bar rotate to fold the flaps in the two lateral sectors onto respective portions of the central sector of the cardboard blank.
