摘要： In a mould-closing unit (F) for an injection-moulding machine for processing plastics, at least one mould carrier (10), which can be moved in a longitudinal direction (L-L) of the mould-closing unit (F), is arranged on a machine base (14) and between itself and a further mould carrier (12) forms a mould-clamping space (C), in which parts of at least one cyclically openable and closable injection mould (M) can be received. At least one linear guide (16), arranged in the longitudinal direction (L-L) on the machine base (14), serves for guiding the at least one movable mould carrier (10) when there is movement in the longitudinal direction (L-L). The mould carrier is supported on the machine base (14) and/or the at least one linear guide (16) by way of a load take-up (18), which has above the at least one linear guide (16) an articulating region (20) for the at least one movable mould carrier (10), which region is connected to the movable mould carrier with a force fit or material bonding and the stiffness of which is greater in the longitudinal direction (L-L) than in a direction transverse to the longitudinal direction (L-L). The forces acting on the guide of the movable mould carrier during the operation of the injection-moulding machine are minimized by the load take-up (18) and/or the articulating region (20) being elliptical in cross section, with the minor axis of the ellipse extending in a direction transverse to the longitudinal direction (L-L) of the mould-closing unit (F).

An abutment is designed so that, in the opened condition of the closing unit, the injection unit can be braced against the abutment, and so that, in a closed condition of the closing unit, the injection unit is freed from the abutment by the force action of the snorkel on the injection unit.

摘要： A clamp assembly for an injection molding machine includes a clamp piston slidable within a housing among a clamping position, a mold break position, and a meshing position disposed axially intermediate the clamping and the mold break positions. A clamp chamber urges the clamp piston towards the clamping position when pressurized, and a return device urges the clamp piston from the clamping position to the meshing position when pressure in the clamp chamber is relieved. At least one mold break actuator is coupled to a mold break engagement surface disposed within the housing. The mold break actuator is adjustable to accommodate retraction of mold break surface when the clamp piston moves to the clamping position, and to forcefully push the mold break surface forward against the clamp piston when moving the clamp piston to the mold break position.

摘要： The invention relates to a drive device, which is used in particular for the closing unit, the injection unit or the ejectors of a plastics injection molding machine and which has a drive element which can be axially moved by an electric motor and a hydraulic unit which, by moving the drive element, can be moved in the same direction as the latter. Drive devices for the stated applications depend on firstly performing a rapid positioning movement and then exerting great forces. In the case of a known drive device with the stated features, the hydraulic unit is a hydraulic cylinder, which is displaced during the positioning movement by the electric motor via a lifting spindle and to which pressure medium is supplied via a valve for the exertion of a great force. In the case of this known drive device, apart from the electrical installation, a complete hydraulic system is also necessary. Furthermore, great forces of reaction act on the lifting spindle. This is avoided if, according to the invention, the hydraulic unit is a force multiplier with two pistons, which can be moved in relation to one another and differ in the size of their effective surface areas, and an intermediate part, which together with the pistons encloses a pressure chamber filled with a pressure fluid, if the small piston, having the smaller effective surface area, is mechanically connected to the drive element, if the hydraulic unit as a whole can be moved for the positioning movement and if the intermediate part can be blocked against displacement in relation to a fixed frame for the exertion of a great force by the large piston, having the greater effective surface area.
