摘要： With the machine, workpieces are machined as they pass through the machine. At least one of the spindles of the machine is coupled with an adjusting unit with which the spindle, for producing a contour on the workpiece, can be adjusted transverse to the throughfeed direction of the workpiece during workpiece throughfeed. The adjustment of the adjusting unit is realized as a function of the advancing speed of the workpiece and/or the workpiece position upon throughfeed of the workpiece. The adjusting unit has such a stiffness and/or low clearance and/or positioning precision that the end products machined from the workpieces after exiting from the machine can be used without further post-machining. The end products have such a geometry precision and surface quality that further post-machining is no longer required.

摘要： A material removal optimizing system for a wood surface treating apparatus with a plurality of individual work stations arranged serially along an endless conveyor. Each station includes a working abrasive head along with an elevation adjustment mechanism for adjustably positioning the contact surface of each abrasive head at a desired working distance from the opposed surface of the workpiece traveling along the endless conveyor. An incoming workpiece dimension indicator is positioned at the infeed end, and additional workpiece dimension indicators are positioned downstream from each work station, with each dimension indicator being positioned to measure the dimensional deviation of the workpiece from a datum plane after it has passed through its preceding individual work station.

Each riser includes an angled face and a cross member, and the angled face and cross member define a slot therebetween. The retaining or fastening clip includes a retaining spring, and the fastening clip is received on the angled face of the riser with the retaining spring extending into the slot. The blade has an abrasive on a first end and an aperture at a second end, the aperture being defined by a shoulder about the aperture. The second end of the blade extends into the slot with the retaining spring of the fastening clip engaging the shoulder. The slot and the retaining spring are configured to mechanically lock the blade to the riser and the base.

摘要： The wood plug trimmer is a devise used in conjunction with a hand held grinder that permits expeditious trimming of wooden plugs that are used to cover screws in wooden objects. The wood plug trimmer will have an interior cylindrical shape that will slide over the shank of a hand held grinder. The interior diameter of the wood plug trimmer will be slightly smaller than the exterior diameter of the shank of the hand held grinder and slightly shorter in length than the length of the base of the shank of the hand held grinder to the tip of the grinding die. This will permit the wood plug trimmer to be adjusted so that the grinding die will be flush with the wood surface. The wood plug trimmer will have a plurality of pilot/waste ports that will be wider than the wooden plugs to be trimmed. When in place the wood plug trimmer will have the wood plugs pass through the pilot/waste ports and permit the grinding die to trim the wooden plug flush with the surface. This will eliminate the need for hand tools and expeditiously and safely permit the removal of the excess wood plugs.

摘要： An abrading machine is disclosed for abrasion of substantially plane items by use of rotating abrading discs, which are moved simultaneously forwards and backwards transverse to the item and which preferably has downward extending abrasive lamellae. The machine also preferably includes one, typically two, opposite rotating abrading cylinders fitted with elongated abrasive elements radially mounted on the abrading cylinder and has abrasive lamellae extending outwards from the cylinder. By moving the abrading discs in a reciprocatory movement transverse to the direction of feed of the items it is achieved that traces etc. from the different abrasive properties of the abrading discs are eliminated as well as all parts of milled out areas etc. are evenly abraded, particularly if the abrading device is designed for using abrading discs with abrasive means comprising abrasive lamellae made of abrasive cloth and which extend downwards from the face of the abrading disc.
