摘要： A catch mat for protecting a floor and a wall during construction activities includes two or more cushioning pads each having a top surface, a bottom surface, and four peripheral edges. Each cushioning pad has a first part of a two-part fastener strip fixed along the top surface proximate one of the peripheral edges. A flexible second part of the two-part fastener strip is adapted to engage the first part of the two-part fastener strip of adjacent and abutting cushioning pads to fasten them mutually yet pivotally together. Each cushioning pad further includes at least one resilient masking strip projecting away from one of the peripheral edges of the cushioning pad at the top surface thereof. In use, the cushioning pads, fastened together, are placed on the floor against the wall with the masking strip bent upward against the wall to protect the floor and wall from falling debris.

摘要： A system for the application of foamable chemical compositions is presented. The application system comprises an ergonomic handle/adapter removably attachable to a pressurized source of a foam product, the handle having inlet and outlet orifices or openings for flow of the foam product from the pressurized source to a nozzle, the nozzle having an outlet orifice for dispensing the foam product and an inlet orifice for connecting to a flexible tubular connecting member which interconnects the outlet orifice of the handle/adapter with the inlet orifice of the nozzle. The nozzle of the present invention includes design features to produce a fan shaped spray pattern of the foam product and to reduce the incidence of leakage or dripping of either moisture or the foam product at the nozzle's outlet. The tubular connecting member is flexible and therefore allows a user to spray foam into hard to reach places.

摘要： Embodiments are disclosed for an apparatus that enables the user to paint a surface and keep the paint focused in the desired area intended to receive the paint and minimize overspray. The disclosed apparatus is a paint shield. The paint shield includes an elongated planar body, a right fin, a left fin, and one or more reinforcing ridges that extend along the planar body. The paint shield can include an attached or attachable handle and the handle can rotate. The user may adjust the angle of the right fin and the left fin to provide additional protection from the side to protect a surface area from receiving any paint and then orient the back surface of the planar body against a surface to be painted. Once the paint shield is positioned, while holding the paint shield using the handle, the user paints the area not covered by the paint shield. The paint shield protects the surface that is covered by the paint shield so that no or minimal paint is deposited on that surface.

The adhesive, such as a polyurethane, is applied as a single-sided adhesive to a footwear component. The application of the adhesive can contaminate the system that is applying the adhesive with intentional over spray of the footwear component. The over spray ensures adequate coverage of the footwear component to allow a sufficient bond. A masking platform of the system masks portions of the system to limit the contamination caused by the over spray. Additionally, material brushes and scrapers may engage with components of the system to remove or limit adhesive contamination on those components. A vision system maps a surface of the footwear component to ensure the adhesive is applied for the specific article.
