    • A connecting arrangement for connecting together a pair of orthogonally arranged profile bars a first one of which (1) is arranged with one of its ends adjacent the side of a second bar (2). A groove connecting member (4) is slidably retained in an undercut longitudinal groove (8) contained in the second profile bar, and an end connecting member (3) is slidably mounted in the groove intermediate the groove connecting member and the adjacent end of the first profile bar. First screws (6) fasten the end connecting member to the adjacent end of the first profile bar, and second screws (5) fasten the groove connecting member to the end connecting member, thereby to connect together the bars. Locator projections (11) on the end connecting member serve to properly position it relative to the first profile bar.

    • A T-connection between two profiles, particularly a cross-bar profile and a post profile of a facade each having an inner chamber, comprises a U-shaped connector located in the inner chamber of one of the profiles, the connector having an end plate provided with a guiding opening and having two opposite edges and two plateshaped legs extending from the opposite edge of the end plate near inner surfaces of the one profile, and a flange bolt guided in the guiding opening of the connector in a non-rotatable manner and extending into the inner chamber of another one of the profiles through an opening in a wall of the other profile so as to be fixed relative to the latter. The flange pin has a portion extending outwardly beyond the end plate and provided with at least one arresting opening. The connector has a toggle lever-like bridge web extending between the plate-shaped legs and provided with a threaded opening. The connection further has a clamping screw extending through the threaded opening of the bridge web and having a head abutting against the end wall. The bridge web has a central web part and web parts which are connected with the legs and extend at an obtuse angle relative to the latter. The threaded opening for the clamping screw is provided in the central web part.

    • A shank mounting assembly for a soil opening point permits adjustment of the spacing between a pair of mounting bolts of the assembly for permitting attachment of the assembly to farm implement shanks having bolt holes of various spacings. The assembly includes an elongated adapter having a hidden, internal cavity to which access is gained only by an elongated slot on the backside of the adapter. The cavity and slot are so dimensioned that while the bolts may move lengthwise within the slot for positioning adjustment, the enlarged heads of the bolts remain in the cavity and cannot pass through the slot. By having the cavity accessible only from the back of the adapter and by providing the front face of the adapter with a smooth, continuous, soil-engaging surface, the heads of the bolts are protectively unexposed to abrasive contact with the soil during use.

    • A plug connector for joining together frame sections comprising a bar which has a recess in at least one end of it. There is a cross wall member inside the recess, spaced from pieces, end of the bar, and having a threaded hole in it for receiving a screw bolt. The screw bolt has an enlarged head which protrudes from the end of the bar, a threaded end portion for threading into the cross wall member, and a portion intermediate the head and threaded portion which is square in cross-section and has a width at least equal to the diameter of the threaded portion. A biasing means is mounted about the screw bolt and positioned between the cross wall and an auxilliary pusher means. The enlarged head of the screw bolt is fitted into a hole and slot-arrangement in the member being joined, and then the bar is rotated in a given direction so as to screw the screw bolt inwardly thereby making a solid joint. A guide plate having a square aperture of a dimension which prevents rotation is mounted on the intermediate portion of the screw bolt, this guide member having an extension which preferably has indicia marked on it for indicating the direction of rotation to tighten the connection. It is furthermore possible to provide various contoured members so that the plug connector can connect rectilinear as well as curvilinear ppieces, i.e., pipes, etc.
