摘要： A cabinet closure device is made from a section of cord and utilizes two cord stop devices to form a loop of cord that is adjustable and securable around two objects to be secured. A user slides the closure device around two objects and then pulls on both of the loop ends to secure the closure device around the objects. To release the closure device, the user need only release the cord stops and the closure device will be loosen and the objects released. For the best function, the knot on the end of the cord that does not have the cord stop should be pulled tight against the main cord stop. Once the unit is placed around the knobs of a cabinet, the user can simply pull the 2nd cord to tighten the device. Once tight, the additional cord stop can be slid upwards abutting the main cord stop.

摘要： The invention has a captive tooless fastener for securing the engine intake air filter. The tooless fastener comprises shaft and associated bodies. The body has two arms oriented about 180 degrees apart. The shaft is threaded through a sealing washer and an aperture in a closed end cap of the air filter. The shaft is expanded so it cannot be removed from the end cap. The body's threaded inner diameter mates with a threaded portion of a central shaft in an air filter housing. The body's arms are rotated to screw the fastener and the shaft of the housing together. When tightened, the sealing washer closes the aperture. To remove the air filter, the fastener is unscrewed from the shaft of the housing and in the shaft floats in the aperture. A person in the field can remove the air filter by inserting fingers under the arms and pulling.

A first bracket component is attached to a door frame and has an overhang portion, comprising a holder component, that extends into the doorway to act as a door stop. A second bracket component, comprising an extended portion, is desirably adjusted in position in relation to the holder component and attached to the door such that the extended portion has a desired amount of overlap on the holder component, wherein the amount of overlap corresponds to an amount of latching force in accordance with the force profile associated with the extended portion based at least in part on shape of the extended portion. An operation device is attached to the first bracket component and/or second bracket component and the door latching holds the door in the desired position to facilitate operations of the operation component.

A V-shaped flapper is pivotally disposed in the channel between the first and second elongated L-shaped arms of the body member for rotating back and forth between a first position corresponding to where the gate frame is in a closed position and a second position corresponding to where the gate frame is in the open position. A U-bolt is used for tightly mounting to the strap mount plate member so as to retain the body member in a desired position on the gate post.

摘要： An engine intake air filter with a captive tooless fastener for securing the engine intake air filter. The tooless fastener comprises a shaft and an associated body. The body has two arms oriented about 180° from one another. The shaft is threaded through a sealing washer and an aperture in an closed end cap of the air filter. The shaft expanded or a component secured to the shaft such that the shaft cannot be removed from the end cap. The body has a threaded inner diameter that mates with a threaded portion of a central shaft in an air filter housing. The arms of the body are rotated to screw the fastener and the shaft of the housing together. When tightened, the aperture is closed by the sealing washer. To remove the air filter, arms are rotated in the reverse direction and the fastener is unscrewed from the shaft of the housing. In this loosened position the shaft floats in the aperture. A person in the field can insert his or her fingers under the arms. The person in the field can pull on the arms and thus use the fastener as a handle for removing the air filter. Optionally, the air filter is utilized in an air filter housing that is secured using a latch clamp assembly.

摘要： A locking device for a set of double sliding doors comprising two U-shaped clips and a flexible band operatively engaging both clips. The locking device is designed to prevent the relative movement of double sliding doors which comprise an interior door and an exterior door, with the interior door sliding in an interior track and the exterior door sliding in an exterior track. The interior and exterior tracks are parallel to each other. In a closed position, an inside vertical stile of the interior door is adjacent to, and which overlaps an inside vertical stile of the exterior door defining a space between the interior and exterior doors. A U-shaped clip is secured to the inside stile of each sliding door. The flexible band is secured at its first end to the U-shaped clip secured to the inside stile of the interior door and then traverses through the space between the interior and exterior doors to the inside stile of the exterior door. At its second end, the flexible band is removably secured to the U-shaped clip secured to the inside stile of the exterior door. When the double sliding doors are in a closed position, they can be locked in a fixed position by securing the second end of the flexible band to the U-shaped clip secured to the inside stile of the exterior door. The double sliding doors are then unlocked by disengaging the second end of the flexible band from the U-shaped clip secured to the inside stile of the exterior door.
