摘要： PROBLEM: To provide a retaining device for which the magnitude of resistance when an engaging protrusion moves between elastic pieces can be adjusted.SOLUTION: The retaining device 4 is provided with: a receiving member 5 that is attached to a main body 1, and an engagement member 6 that is attached to a movable body 2. The receiving member 5 has: a base part 10 attached to the main body 1, a first elastic piece 11 supported by the base part 10, and a second elastic piece 12 supported by the base part 10. The engagement member 6 has an engaging protrusion 8 that passes between the first elastic piece 11 and the second elastic piece 12 and is retained at a retaining position P. An interval between the first elastic piece 11 and the second elastic piece 12 becomes narrower than the engaging protrusion 8 at a more forward side than the retaining position P. The first elastic piece 11 bends more easily than the second elastic piece 12 at a more forward side than the retaining position P.

摘要： A latch that can be unlatched with a force exerted on a front handle of a drawer or other enclosure. The latch includes an end cap that interacts with a cam surface of a body and, upon doing so, disengages the catch from an opening on a strike plate or cabinet body. When the catch is disengaged, the latch can allow for the opening of the enclosure. The latch therefore allows for a simple forward motion to open and close the latch, and further allows the latch to be used with many different enclosures.

摘要： Embodiments of the invention are directed to merchandise security devices, systems, and methods for protecting an item of merchandise from theft. For example, a merchandise security device may include a lock configured to be secured to a merchandise fixture and a strike plate configured to be secured to the merchandise fixture. The lock includes an actuator configured to extend into operable engagement with the strike plate in a locked state and to retract out of operable engagement with the strike plate in an unlocked state. In addition, the actuator includes a curved portion at its free end and a straight portion extending from the curved portion, and the strike plate is configured to receive the entire curved portion in the locked state.

摘要： Embodiments described herein are directed to a locking mechanism having a door with an interior facing surface and an exterior facing surface, a handle assembly comprising a handle that is selectively repositionable between a locked handle position and an unlocked and latched handle position, an engagement bolt coupled to the handle assembly and slidably mounted to the interior facing surface of the door, a biasing member coupled to the engagement bolt, wherein the biasing member applies a force to the engagement bolt biasing the engagement bolt in an inward direction, and a lock with a lock housing and a locking bolt that is selectively repositionable between a locked position to inhibit translation of the engagement bolt and an unlocked position to allow translation of the engagement bolt. The handle is biased toward the unlocked and latched handle position with the locking bolt in the unlocked position.

摘要： A lock for retrofitting onto a drawer or a door includes a drawer having a front panel. The drawer slidingly engages an item of furniture having a front face that is positioned above the front panel when the drawer is closed. A bracket has a vertically disposed flat front plate, a horizontally disposed flat top plate, a vertically disposed fiat back plate, and a horizontally disposed motor platform that extends horizontally into an interior of the drawer. A motor having an output shaft is mounted on the motor platform. A latch supported by the motor platform is engaged by the output shaft. The latch is retracted when the drawer is unlocked and is extended to engage an interior side of the front panel of the furniture item when the drawer is locked.
