    • A planar capacitor includes, in part, a first metal line forming spiral-shaped loops around one of its end point, and a second metal line forming spiral-shaped loops between the loops of the first metal line. The filter further includes a first inductor coupled between the first and third metal lines, and a second inductor coupled between the second and third metal lines.

    • A variable bandwidth filter includes a first filter branch in parallel with a second filter branch. The first filter branch includes a first resistance in series with an input and a first output, and N parallel paths across the first output. The second filter branch includes a second resistance in series with the input and a second output, and N parallel paths across the second output. A clock tunes the first and second filter branches to a center frequency. A combiner produces a difference signal including a difference between the output of the first filter branch and the output of the second filter branch to provide a filter output having an adjustable bandwidth with reference to a center frequency. The bandwidth is adjusted by changing a value of at least one resistor or at least one capacitor in one or more of the first filter branch or the second filter branch.

    • The present subject matter relates to systems, devices, and methods for adaptively tuning antenna elements and/or associated filter elements to support multiple frequency bands. For example, a tunable filter having an input node and an output node can be selectively tunable to define one or more pass bands associated with one or more first signal bands and one or more reject bands associated with one or more second signal bands. The tunable filter can be configured to pass signals having frequencies within the first signal bands between the input node and the output node and to block signals having frequencies within the second signal bands. Furthermore, the tunable filter can be configured to selectively tune the pass bands to have a minimum pass band insertion loss at any of a variety of frequencies, including frequencies that are greater than and less than frequencies within the reject bands.
