摘要： A spool deflection indicator comprising a shank and an integral enlarged switch housing supporting a switch. The shank pivotally supports a rod which is connected at one end to a horizontally movable spool located below the indicator. The other end of the rod opposite the spool has a cam with a concave indentation. The concave indentation is aligned with a switch button on the switch. When the spool moves, the cam also moves causing the concave indentation to become misaligned with the switch button thereby depressing it and changing the mode of the switch.

摘要： A touch signal probe comprises a probe casing fixed to a shank body through a shank anchor, the probe casing containing a stylus shaft held for inclining relative to the probe casing, a fixed contact on the inner bottom of the probe casing, a contact receiving portion carrying a movable contact which is fixed to the stylus shaft and defines a set of contacts together with the fixed contact, and a spring operably located between the shank anchor and the contact receiving portion to urge the movable contact toward the fixed contact, whereby the displacement of the stylus shaft can be detected on the separation of the contacts. The touch signal probe is characterised in that the shank anchor slidably receives a spring seat having an engagement face engaged by the spring at one end and in that an adjusting screw for forwardly and rearwardly moving the spring seat is threadedly screwed into the shank anchor, the tip of the adjusting screw engaging the opposite face of the spring seat, whereby the spring can be constricted or expanded to adjust a pressure of contact between the fixed and movable contacts by moving the adjusting screw in either of the opposite directions.

Switch actuation is obtained by providing opposed concave surfaces in fixed association with the touch bar and associated housing with the surfaces operated by a round element, such as a ball. Any rolling of the ball from centered position causes parting movement of the elements defining opposed concave surfaces and linear movement of one of the elements useful for switch actuation.

摘要： An electric switch wherein a fixed contact is engaged by a tiltable and reciprocable second contact under the action of an elastic washer or a coil spring. The second contact can be tilted by a projection, which extends from the housing, in cooperation with a flat abutment in the housing. When the projection is tilted, it causes the second contact to pivot relative to the abutment and to become disengaged from the fixed contact. The projection can be tilted by a bar or a tube which must be displaced by a person or object tending to penetrate into a danger zone, such as the nip of two cylinders in a printing machine or a machine tool. A third contact can be provided to be engaged by the second contact when the latter is disengaged from the fixed contact.
