    • A transparency film assemblage of the type which includes a film mount having first and second apertured sections, a film frame of the instant type mounted on the first section in superposition to its aperture, a strip sheet mounted in superposed relation to the film frame, and a container having a supply of processing liquid which is to be spread between the sheet and the film frame, subsequent to the latter's exposure, to initiate the formation of a visible image in the film frame. The film mount is constructed to accommodate the container and/or the sheet, after the latter has been stripped from the image in the film frame which is to be subsequently viewed, such that the container and/or sheet may be sandwiched between the first and second sections when they are secured in face-to-face relation to define a fully mounted transparency ready to be placed in a projector.

    • A processing kit for use in conjunction with an exposed roll of self-developing or instant type film, preferably of the transparency type. The kit includes a housing having a compartment for receiving a roll of flexible sheet material and a reservoir in which is located a container of liquid. The kit is adapted to be placed, as is, within a film processor, and a free end of the sheet, which initially protrudes from the kit, is attached to a take-up reel which, in turn, has an end of an exposed strip of self-developing type film attached thereto. Upon closing a loading door of the film processor, the container of liquid is ruptured and the take-up reel is driven in a manner so as to wind the sheet and film upon the take-up reel. As the sheet is being withdrawn from the kit, it is coated with the liquid and then brought into engagement with the film being wound on the reel so as to initiate the formation of visible images within adjacent sections of the film. After a predetermined period of time, the sheet and developed film are rewound into their original containers and the kit is then discarded.

    • A small, compact apparatus for processing individual rolls of an exposed composite self-developing transparency film structure. The apparatus includes two housings pivotally connected at one end to each other for movement from a film cassette loading position to a film processing position. The other end of each housing includes a recess for receiving the open end of a lighttight, linearly extendable chamber. Mounted within the housings is a pair of motor driven elongate rollers for spreading a processing liquid across the film to initiate the formation of visible images therein while simultaneously advancing the film from its cassette and into the lighttight chamber. The two housings and the open end of the chamber carry elements which, when the chamber is coupled in lighttight relation to the housings, function as a closed electrical switch located in series with the motor, thereby insuring that the film can be processed only when the lighttight chamber is properly coupled to the housings.

    • A device for applying pressure to a pair of developer distributing rollers in a self-development type photographic camera utilizes a pair of bell crank levers provided in the vicinity of the ends of the rollers for pressing one roller onto the other. The ends of the shaft of the roller which is movable in the direction to change the pressure between the pair of rollers are each engaged with one of the bell crank levers. A spring or springs are engaged with the bell crank levers to urge the bell crank levers in the direction to press one roller onto the other. The pressure between the rollers is changed by changing the tension of the spring or springs.
