    • Apparatus for dispensing a desired quantity by weight of a fluid material such as a liquid color printing ink for shade mixing purposes includes a container (1) for the fluid material to be dispensed, a main fluid material dispensing discharge outlet (2) on the container (1) and a secondary fluid material dispensing discharge outlet (3) on the container (1). The container further includes a movable pressure assembly plate to apply a pressure to the fluid to dispense the fluid from the discharge outlets. The secondary dispensing dischage outlet (3) incorporates a gear pump (5) which is adjustably operable to dispense a particular volume of fluid material corresponding to a particular weight of fluid material to be dispensed. The pressure plate assembly (4) includes a presser plate (21) slidably movable in the container (1) in sealed contact with side walls (1a) of the container (1) to engage directly or indirectly the upper surface of fluid material in the container (1). A piston and cylinder assembly (23) is operative to urge the plate (21) towards and away from fluid material in the container (1).

    • An apparatus for weighing granular or pulverulent bulk goods, where the bulk good is moved by reduced pressure from a silo through at least one conveyance duct to a scale and where the flow of material is lowered by increasing the proportion of air toward the end of the conveyance procedure, is designed in such a manner as to make possible accurate and precise metering at high conveyance rates.The invention includes a second conveyance duct not connected to the silo but leading to the scale to which the process switches over from the first conveyance duct toward the end of the weighing procedure, laminar air flow being sucked into the second conveyance duct, and a reservoir being provided which contains a slight quantity of the good to be moved and which is equipped at its lower region with a mechanical conveyor that is switched in by the scale toward the end of the conveyance procedure and that communicates with the end of the second conveyance line facing away from the scale and that furthermore uniformly supplies the good contained in the reservoir to the second conveyance duct.

    • An apparatus for continuous gravimetric metering of pourable material includes a housing having arranged therein a rotor. The material is supplied to pockets of the rotor through a charging inlet and blown out of the pockets at a discharging outlet arranged on a side of the housing opposite to a charging device. The housing is mounted at a frame and is pivotal about an axis extending through centers of elastic coupling members connecting a supply bin and a feed-away duct, respectively, to the housing. The axis may extend inclined to the horizontal. Pressurized fluid for blowing out the pockets of the rotor may be used for cleaning an interior space of the rotor prior to being applied to the pockets of the rotor.
