摘要： An apparatus for the simultaneous drying and transport of low-rank coal is described. The apparatus has a first pipe having an inner wall surface surroundingly defining a first flow channel and an outer wall surface; a low-rank coal supply system to supply particulate low-rank coal to an inlet of the first flow channel; a transport gas supply to supply transport gas to an inlet of the first flow channel; a heating apparatus to apply heat to an outer wall surface of the first pipe along at least part of the length thereof for example in the form of a drying fluid supply to supply a drying fluid, configured such that a drying fluid is brought into contact with the outer wall surface of the first pipe along at least part of the length thereof. A system of design of thermal power plant incorporating such an apparatus is also described. A method for the simultaneous drying and transport of low-rank coal is also described. A system and method for supplying dried low-rank coal for combustion are also described.

摘要： Method and apparatus for pneumatically drying thickened lime mud and feeding the dried thickened lime mud to a lime reburning kiln. The thickened mud is pneumatically dried via the action of flue gas emanating from the lime reburning kiln. The dried, thickened lime is separated from the flue gas in a cyclone separator. A process loop controller determines the temperature of the separated lime and, in response, controls the feed rate of lime fed to the pneumatic dryer to ensure that the dryer possesses the requisite latent heat needed to dry thickened lime therein. In one embodiment, the feed rate of lime fed to the thickener is adjustably controlled which, in turn, adjustably varies the flow rate of the thickened mud to the dryer.

The blower has an air outlet connected with a windpipe, and the heating member is connected with one end of the windpipe, having a tubular member and a heating element in the tubular member. Between the other end of the heating member and a preset sidewall of the container of the conveying device is provided a pipe joint, for air sucked by the blower blown in the heating member to heat. Then heated air is blown through the air holes of the sidewall of the collecting chamber of the container of the conveying device to dry wood waste therein and then compressed in the compressing device of the machine to become tight solid blocks.

摘要： A method of treating a waste stream comprises a vacuum treatment to promote disintegration of the waste material by “flash vapor” production, causing a swiftly vaporizing fraction inside the material to literally explode or shred apart the matrix of the material as a whole. A main processor operates at a level of vacuum that determines a given boiling temperature for a vaporizing fraction, and one which lower than the fraction's boiling temperature for the local vicinity's barometric pressure (eg., atmospheric pressure). The input stream is pre-heated to above the given boiling temperature for that fraction as determined by the main processor's vacuum level without, however, going over the boiling temperature for the local barometric pressure. It is then introduced into the vacuum of the main processor whereby a minor percentage of the vaporizing fraction flashes into vapor, and this presumptively promotes destruction and/or disintegration of the material.

摘要： Wet particulate coal and a current of hot dry gas at superatmospheric pressure are introduced into a substantially closed drying chamber to contact the material with the gas while maintaining the drying chamber under superatmospheric pressure so that the material is dried by the gas. The dried material is withdrawn from the drying chamber and the gas is withdrawn from the drying chamber and itself mixed with a stream of hot dry gas produced by burning a combustible and a combustion-supporting gas. This mixture is then reintroduced into the drying chamber as the current of hot gas used to dry the coal. The burner is operated at superatmospheric pressure and is formed of a jet-pump type injector, and a diffusor is provided downstream of this injector in the circulation path.
