    • A hydraulic cylinder structure contains: a hydraulic cylinder including a movable piston rod, a connecting seat, and an oil tank having an outer tube and an inner tube. The piston rod is hollow and is fitted with a guiding tube of the connecting seat, and a pump of the connecting seat has an oil feeding pipe for outputting hydraulic oil. The oil feeding pipe is in connection with the guiding tube, an on/off valve, a pressure adjusting valve, and a safety valve. The pressure adjusting valve is coupled with an oil path of a push piston, and the oil path is joined with an auxiliary path and the on/off valve for drawing the hydraulic oil out of the oil tank via a single-direction valve, and the on/off valve and the safety valve are connected with the oil tank.

    • A hydraulic system, wherein an actuating cylinder and an accelerating cylinder each includes a piston, a rod, and a tube. When the rod of the actuating cylinder extends in an unloaded condition, a circuit is configured such that oil discharged from the bottom-side section of the accelerating cylinder is supplied to the bottom-side section of the actuating cylinder through a bottom line. When the rod of the actuating cylinder extends in a loaded condition, a circuit is configured such that oil supplied to the bottom line without passing through the accelerating cylinder is supplied to the bottom-side section of the actuating cylinder. The circuit for the unloaded condition and the circuit for the loaded condition is switched based on a pressure sensing in the bottom line.

    • A high speed and high load cylinder device is constructed by connecting a piston of a high speed cylinder (1) having a smaller pressure receiving area and a piston of a pressurizing cylinder (2) having a large pressurizing area. The device is provided with a hydraulic circuit for supplying a hydraulic pressure to the high speed cylinder and the pressurizing cylinder. The device has a sequence valve (5) at an intermediate position in a passage (2e) providing in the piston of the pressurizing cylinder for communicating an upper chamber (2.sub.1) and a lower chamber (2.sub.2) of the pressurizing cylinder for opening and closing the passage depending upon a pilot pressure. A pilot pressure is supplied for closing the sequence valve by supplying the pilot pressure to the sequence valve. A high speed/pressurizing switching valve (12) is provided at an intermediate position in a piping (11) supplying the hydraulic pressure to the upper chamber of the pressurizing cylinder in the hydraulic circuit. The high speed/pressuring switching valve (12) is closed when high speed operation is required, by not submitting the pilot pressure to the sequence valve (5). The high speed/pressurizing switching valve (12) is open when high pressurizing force is required, by supplying the pilot valve to the sequence valve (5). With the construction, it becomes possible to perform high speed operation by the high speed cylinder and operation coping with high load by the pressurizing fluid without providing the external piping and valve.

    • A control system for operating the ram vertically movable in and out of a glass mold. The control system for operating the ram includes a hydraulic pump, a hydraulic fluid reservoir, and a hydraulic cylinder which is interconnected to the pump and to the reservoir. A vertically reciprocal piston is positioned in the cylinder. Valve means control the flow of hydraulic fluid from the pump and reservoir to the chambers defined on opposite sides of the piston. The operating system includes a first control of hydraulic fluid and fluid pressure to the first chamber and from the second chamber for rapidly lowering or permitting free fall of the ram towards the mold by action of gravity and a second control means of the fluid pressure on both sides of the piston to reduce the speed of the ram to pressing speed and finally to a fixed pressing position. The system also includes further controls for gradually breaking the ram away from the mold at a relatively slow speed and for controlling the flow of fluid and the pressure in the two chambers to rapidly raise the ram.
