摘要： The present invention relates to a turbine module for a turbomachine, comprising a first flow bypass structure and a second flow bypass structure, said flow bypass structures being arranged in a hot gas duct, which is bounded by the turbine module and is designed to convey a hot gas and, namely, being arranged in succession in relation to a longitudinal axis of the turbine module in a direction of rotation, wherein, in relation to the bypass flow in the hot gas duct, the flow bypass structures each have a leading edge, and, downstream thereto, a trailing edge, and the second flow bypass structure is provided as a deflecting blade, wherein the second flow bypass structure has a smaller profile thickness than the first flow bypass structure, and wherein the hot gas duct is enclosed by a radial width.

摘要： An airfoil platform includes a platform body having an arcuate base defining a centerline axis. A rail extends radially outboard from a side of the arcuate base. A feed orifice is defined at least partially in the rail. The inner diameter edge of an axially facing opening of the feed orifice is spaced apart radially outboard of an outer diameter surface of the arcuate base. A method for manufacturing an airfoil platform includes providing an airfoil platform body and forming the feed orifice through the rail. Forming the feed orifice through the rail includes forming the feed orifice radially outboard of and spaced apart from the outer diameter surface of the arcuate base.

摘要： An assembly for use in a gas turbine engine includes a center body support section including inner and outer annular walls, a plurality of struts, and a heat shield. The outer annular wall is disposed radially outward of the inner annular wall and a plurality of struts connect the inner and outer annular walls. The heat shield is disposed radially inward of and connected to the inner annular wall, such that a cavity is formed between the heat shield and the inner annular wall. The cavity is open to an air flow at a forward face of the center body support section. The inner annular wall and heat shield include first and second forward edges, respectively. The first and second forward edges are aligned axially.

摘要： A guide vane device for a turbine has an inner platform with a through hole forming a fluid channel for a cooling fluid, wherein the inner platform extends in a circumferential direction around a shaft of the turbine. The guide vane device further includes a hollow aerofoil with a cooling opening for exchanging the cooling fluid passing the through hole into or from the hollow aerofoil, wherein the hollow aerofoil is fixed to a first surface of the inner platform, and a rail with a recess with a cooling fluid passage forming a passage for the cooling fluid to the through hole, wherein the rail is fixed to a second surface of the inner platform and the rail extends along the second surface in the circumferential direction around the shaft. The cooling fluid passage has in the circumferential direction at least the dimension of the through hole.

摘要： A gas turbine engine is disclosed having an air injection system useful to supply a relatively pressurized air to a flow path of a compressor. The air injection system includes a port cover operable to open and close a port through which the air can flow to the compressor from a relatively pressurized source. The port cover extends circumferentially around the gas turbine engine and can include a portion that is anchored and an opposite portion coupled to an actuator. Movement of the actuator causes the port cover to open and close the port. Biasing members can be used to urge the port cover into one of an open and closed position against the movement of the actuator.

摘要： An inlet transition section and an inlet bowl entry can be designed to reduce a number of turbomachine casing designs. Using relationships between flow properties, distances between elements, crossover/supply pipe diameter, ideal cross sectional area, aspect ratio, and inlet bowl entry size, a transition from circular cross section to substantially polygonal cross section can be made while enabling adoption of a single size of substantially polygonal inlet bowl entry for a plurality of turbine sizes and/or crossover/supply pipe sizes with minimal losses.

The steam turbine 100 further includes a plurality of spacer plates corresponding to the plurality of nozzle boxes, wherein the spacer plate is disposed between the nozzle plate and the nozzle box, by which a flow path is formed between the plurality of nozzle boxes and the plurality of the nozzle plates through the plurality of spacer plates to achieve a full arc admission. With the solution according to embodiments of the present invention, existing partial arc steam turbine may be easily converted to be a full arc admission steam turbine. This will reduce cost of equipment upgrading. Outage due to onsite conversion may be significantly reduced.
