    • An adjustable position blocking device for sliding closures that firmly attaches to a glass pane of a closure and limits the sliding translation of the sliding panels of the closure. One embodiment comprises an elongated track (30) which adheres to a glass pane with very high bonding double-sided tape (40). The one embodiment also comprises a blocking slider (10) that adjustably attaches to track (30) at a plurality of track positions and is substantially tall to block the sliding translation of the sliding panels. Slider (10) comprises a modular attachment means that permits the slider (10) to be customized with blocking modules (22, 86, 96) of different form and function. In addition, one embodiment comprises a blocking module (96) which integrates an electronic device to detect the opening of a sliding closure and alert a user, a remote device or a remote system.

    • An improvement to Del Nin's security locking device outlined by U.S. Patent No. 5,983,680 issued Nov. 16, 1999 is described wherein the improvement comprises of new gearing arrangement and vertical deadbolt design so as to strengthen the device's vulnerability to forced breakage, and so that such locking device may operate on doors opening from either left or right sides of its door frame. This improved vertical deadbolt design additionally replaces need for any spring-like mechanisms prone to attack and vulnerable to wear and tear, with more sturdy bayonette latch mechanism resulting in solid precision control over deadbolt's vertical movement.

    • A door security device operative to secure the door in a fully closed and partially opened state is disclosed. A vertically oriented housing mounted close to the handle side on the inside surface of the door contains a coaxial brace bar, the bottom end of which extends out of the housing, but does not reach the floor. A second vertically oriented brace bar is slideably mounted onto horizontal rods, which are affixed proximate to the bottom of the vertical brace bar. To lock the door, the bottom end of the slideable brace bar is inserted into one of two different floor plugs, the first of which is positioned adjacent to the location of the closed door (bracing the door in a fully closed position) and the second of which is positioned slightly interior to the first (bracing the door in a manner that allows it to be partially opened). If no security is desired, the entire device may be lifted in the housing, rotated into planar contact with the door, and locked in an inactive position. The locking mechanism can also be used to lock the device in any of the active positions.

    • A door locating device includes an anchorage hole provided on the concrete or ground. An outer sleeve is anchored into the anchorage hole. This outer sleeve has hollow configuration is provided with outer thread. The bottom of the sleeve is provided with a bottom plate which has a flange. The flange is provided with a plurality of threaded hole. A fixing plate having a threaded hole at the center portion thereof. Both side portions of the plate are provided with through holes. The threaded hole is screwed into the outer thread of the outer sleeve. The immediate sleeve to be incorporated with the outer sleeve. The immediate sleeve is provided with longitudinal slot at its inner wall. The longitudinal slot has an enlarged cut which forms upper and lower positioning edges. A spring is disposed within the bottom of the sleeve. A top press block has a traverse slot. The upper and lower portion of the block has a first and a second posts which have different diameter one another. The interconnection between the first and second posts forms a biasing ring to bias the spring. The first post has a boss at its side wall which can move up and down within the through slots. When the device is assembled, the outer sleeve is inserted into anchorage hole first, then is filled with concrete in such a manner that the threads are filled with concrete.

    • A locking assembly consisting of a post device is positionable in floor adjacent to a door permitting the door to be no more than partially opened. The locking assembly comprises a base fixture permanently mounted in the floor, and a post in the base assemmbly which can be raised so as to block the door against being completely opened, or lowered to permit the door to be completely opened.     • A door stop assembly for vertical insertion in a single hole in a floor in the path of a swinging door includes a tubular housing with a top flanged housing for retaining the assembly in the floor, a tubular door check rod within the flanged housing and spring biased to extend up into the path of the door upon being triggered, and a trigger bar coaxially extending through the door check rod. The top surface of the trigger bar is normally flush with the flange so that the door check cannot be accidentally extended by merely stepping on it. When depressed below the flange surface, a steel ball, normally contained within two aligned radial holes in walls of the door check bar and housing, drops into an annular groove in the trigger bar to thus release the door check bar from its housing. When the door check bar is pushed down, the groove in the trigger bar replaces the ball in the aligned holes to relock the check bar in its housing.

    • A foot operated door stop adapted to be positioned in a floor opening adjacent the door so as to effectively limit its degree of opening as a safety and anti-burglar means. This door stopper is in the form of inner and outer telescopically mounted cylindrical members. The inner cylinder is spring urged to an extended position wherein such member projects upwardly from the floor in a door blocking position. The inner member is guided by specific means at the upper and lower ends of the outer member and a particular detent assembly is mounted in such inner member so as to present the means by which the inner member may be held in its retracted or non-operative position. The inner cylinder is also adapted to freely rotate with respect to the outer cylinder.
