摘要： The device for providing a safe maritime area includes a structure having vertical filtering walls over the entire periphery of same and a base linking the lower portions of all filtering walls. The structure is provided with buoyancy, so as to keep the base submerged and the upper portions of the filtering walls above the waterline. At least one portion of the surface of the base is sealed. The sealed surface includes a first face inclined transversely relative to the horizontal in an increasing slope from a front wall and a second face extending from the first face to a rear wall. The invention also concerns a method for monitoring wave-breaking.

摘要： A submersible fabric tub is floated in a swimming pool or other body of water, the tub having an upper floatation collar from which the flexible fabric structure of the tub is suspended. The tub has a pair of opposed bench seat portions with a deeper leg well located between them, and with enclosing end walls. A pair of access ports in an end wall connect by way of connecting hoses with an external heating or cooling water supply, by which the temperature of the water within the tub structure may be conditioned to a desired extent. The flexible floatation collar can be readily locally depressed, enabling users of the tub to readily enter or leave the tub for the surrounding body of water by swimming over the collar. The bench seat portions incorporate plastic reinforcing beams.

The bath is filled with water, or water is circulated through the bath. Pressurized steam is introduced into the bath to inflate the bath and to heat the water in the bath. The steam also serves to create bubbles in the bath water for therapeutic effects. The bath may be used as a whirlpool bath for further therapeutic effects.

摘要： Within a large body of water, such as a lake, an area to be used as a swimming pool is confined by a floating heat barrier reaching down from the water surface to a depth of a few meters but terminating above the lake bottom. A heat pump abstracts heat from the water in a region beyond the pool area and raises the temperature of water circulating through it from that area. Only a narrow access, which may be thermally insulated against the water, connects the swimming pool with the land in order to minimize heat losses.

摘要： A sheet wave water attraction includes a buoyant structure adapted for floating on a naturally occurring body of water, a sheet wave generator mounted to the structure, and a wave-forming ramp on the structure cooperating with the wave generator for the formation of waves on the ramp. The wave generator has a water intake below a waterline on the structure. The intake is configured to draw water from the body of water adjacent the structure. The buoyant structure has a shallow draft, including the draft of a water intake for the wave generator whereby near-coastal off-shore positioning may be achieved for operationally positioning the water attraction close to shore.
