    • A rectangular shaped device for making abode bricks including an L-shaped rod mounted perpendicularly to the rectangular shaped device to provide stability and a T-shaped planar insert having a means for adjusting so that different size abode bricks can be made. The form is used at the desired position to make an adobe brick of the adobe structure. The setting of the rectangular shaped device next to the just previously formed adobe brick leaves a gap. The gap is filled when an adobe brick is formed above the gap. Also, the form is combined with a plurality of forms to make a gang mold. The gang mold is used to make a course of adobe bricks. This method of on site adobe brick building forms an uniform integrated adobe structure.

    • A concrete placing apparatus comprises jacks arranged in line along a wall to be erected, and U-shaped frames mounted on these jacks and connected with each other by scaffolds positioned along and on both sides of the line of arrangement of the jacks. The apparatus also includes driving carriages disposed on the scaffolds for movement therealong. Each carriage carries a feed hopper, a moulding board, and a concrete compacting means. According to the invention at least one of the moulding boards is provided with a drive for moving it in the direction transverse to the line of arrangement of the jacks. This drive is connected with the moulding board by means of a rod. The concrete compacting means is constructed in the form of a vibrating chute positioned under the feed hopper and above the moulding board and provided with a vibrating means for oscillating this chute along the direction of movement of the moulding board. The vibrating chute is mounted on the same carriage with the moulding board having a drive and consists of two parts attached to each other for extending in the direction of movement of this moulding board, so as to enable varying the passage area of the vibrating chute according to the change in the distance between a respective moulding board and the line of arrangement of jacks.

    • The invention pertains to apparatus for forming elongated concrete structures, such as walls and the like, by slip forming. In particular, the invention is directed to the concept of slip forming walls of asymmetrical transverse cross section as required in the forming of highway barrier walls. The concrete slip form includes opposite sidewalls and open front and rear ends. At least one of the sidewalls is vertically adjustable wherein the sidewall configuration being formed thereby may have a height variance with respect to the opposite sidewall being formed. The form includes fixed wall portions associating with the adjustable wall portion and power means permit adjustment of the vertical adjustable wall. It is also within the scope of the invention to provide a form wherein both sidewalls are vertically adjustable, and the form includes means for introducing steel reinforcement into the formed wall, and periodically permitting accessory equipment to be embedded into the wall.
