摘要： An adhesive carrier for stackable building blocks having respective top and bottom surfaces. The carrier includes a body defining a cavity with an adhesive material contained therein. When placing the body on the top surface of a lower block and stacking an upper block thereon, the body is so configured and sized as to burst between the two stacked blocks releasing the adhesive material contained therein, thereby adhering the two stacked blocks together. The adhesive carrier also includes a body having adhesive material mounted thereon. When placing the body on the top surface of a lower block and stacking an upper block thereon, the adhesive is so configured as to adhere the two stacked blocks together either because of pressure-sensitivity or when chemically reacted with another substance. The adhesive carrier further includes an adhesive interlock connector. Also disclosed is a method of adhering stackable building blocks together.

摘要： An after-wet-adhesion building-block system has building blocks (1) with moisture-conveyance means from outside surfaces (4) to adhesive material (3) in a dry state between the building blocks for set-up adhesion after construction. The moisture-conveyance means can be design moisture porosity of the building blocks or such features as moisture-conveyance sections (16), moisture-conveyance contact surfaces of blocks, or moisture-conveyance material (13) intermediate the building blocks. The adhesive in a dry state can be pre-applied, applied with a brush or other applicator, contained in a paper or other moisture-conveyance material that is laid on the blocks successively during construction, sprinkled on with an applicator, or applied otherwise in a dry state. In addition to using building blocks or bricks with standard shapes, a wide selection of tongue-and-groove structure (7, 8) of different types of building blocks can be employed with this invention because integrity and accuracy of tongue-and-groove positioning of building blocks is not sacrificed to bulk of mortar and to liquescent escape of wet-mixed mortar.

A building block includes joining elements for attaching blocks from top to bottom as well as from side to side. Additionally, blocks have internal and external finishes that are complete. The block includes a removable face for allowing access to space for infrastructural elements like wires and pipes. Thus, after construction of a structure, there is no additional need to paint, hang wallpaper or otherwise treat the outer and inner walls of the final structure.

摘要： An L-bracket is provided to support manufacturered wall panels in a wall system. The L-bracket is attached to structural support members, such as floors, or hollow structural sections, so that any deflections in the floor system are accommodated in the wall panels. Each wall panel may be pre-fabricated to include shealthing, air/vapour barrier and insulation. Fasteners attach the shealthing of the wall panels to the L-bracket. Tape or strips may be applied between adjoining panels to provide a continuous air/vapour barrier for the wall system, and gaps in the insulation layer allows the air/vapour barrier to be sealed and inspected.
