    • A sewing machine with multiple needles employs, for each needle, a needle bar guide in the shape of the letter “c” and cooperates with a projection. The needle bar guide holds a needle bar by passing the needle bar through holes formed at upper and lower positions of the needle bar guide. Therefore, when the projection is rotated in a boss, the needle bar guide is also rotated, and the end of the needle is oscillated. When the projection is moved back and forth in the boss, the end of the needle is also moved in the same manner. Consequently, a deviation in the relative position between a needle and a rotary hook caused by a slight difference in machining and assembly accuracy can be adjusted for every needle.

    • Needle changing devices and methods of changing needles in stitching machines are provided. The devices can include a body having a plurality of substantially parallel channels formed therein. Each channel can be configured for holding a needle. The channels can have a top end portion beginning at a top surface and a bottom end portion beginning at a bottom surface of the body. The top end portions can have a greater width than the bottom end portions and can be recessed in the channels. With a plurality of needles held in the device, the needles can be positioned and secured in a stitching machine. Once the needles are secured, the device can be moved in a direction substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the needles in the direction of the needle point, such that the needles are no longer held by the needle changing device.

    • The present invention discloses a multi-needle bar module for sewing machines. Such a multi-needle bar module may be additionally mounted on the existing sewing machines, so that the existing sewing machines may be easily retrofitted into multi-needle bar sewing machines. The multi-needle bar module is not limited to a two-needle bar structure, and may be assembled with three, four or more needle bars according to actual requirements, solving the problem that both the single-needle bar sewing machines and the two-needle-bar sewing machines require manual change of threads in the process of sewing a pattern due to insufficient color varieties of the upper threads. The multi-needle-bar module guides each needle bar via the first horizontal guideway and the second horizontal guideway, and feeds a specific needle bar into the neck of the needle bar driving block via the driving mechanism.
