摘要： A sewing machine includes a needle bar to which a sewing needle is attached, a sewing machine motor that drives a needle bar mechanism for vertically driving the needle bar via a drive shaft, an information reading device, and a control device. The information reading device is disposed in the vicinity of a needle drop position of the sewing needle and reads out sewing information relating to sewing conditions for the sewing machine each time a mark attached to a work cloth enters into a communication range as the work cloth is moved, the sewing information being stored in an RFID tag included in the mark. The control device controls sewing based on the sewing information read out by the information reading device from the RFID tag.

摘要： A tape printer for securing a time period sufficient for processing printing data even if the rpm of a DC motor increases, when an encoder is used for detecting rotation of the DC motor. When the DC motor does not rotate at a constant speed, in principle, the encoder detects an amount of rotation of the DC motor. Accordingly, a thermal head is driven for printing, every time a predetermined angle of rotation is sensed. On the other hand, when the DC motor rotates at a constant speed, the thermal head is driven for printing at constant intervals.

摘要： A tape printer that prevents shifting of a printed dot due to a reverse rotation caused by the DC motor stop when power supply to a DC motor is resumed. When the power supply to the DC motor is suspended, the DC motor often rotates in a reverse direction immediately before rotation of the motor stops. The amount of reverse rotation is detected by an encoder. This amount is compensated immediately after the power supply to the DC motor is resumed. After the amount of forward rotation identical to the amount of reverse rotation amount is detected, printing is resumed by the printing head.

摘要： In a printer for printing an attributed character by printing a character part and an attribute part separately, the invented printer or typewriter is so constructed that only an attribute part, e.g., an underline part or a bold face part, is printed in case a printed character is detected to already have the attribute, i.e., is underlined, or bold face, thereby preventing a character part of the printed character from being double printed. This results in improved quality in printed characters and in complete clear character erasures. The printer is also effective for overprinting attribute parts to over a desired range of printed characters.
