摘要： An outer-yarn brake (14) for a cording or cabling machine with at least one workstation comprising a bobbin rack (2) for holding at least one feed bobbin (4), a spindle (12) for the rotation of a yarn (6) withdrawn from the feed bobbin (4) around a bobbin pot associated with the spindle (12), and a yarn-guide channel (10) for guiding the yarn (6) received via a free end-portion (8) of the yarn-guide channel (10) to the spindle (12). The outer-yarn brake (14) can be arranged in the yarn running direction of the withdrawn yarn (6) between the feed bobbin (4) and the yarn-guide channel (10) to guide through the withdrawn yarn (6) and comprises a clamping portion for defined braking of the running yarn (6). The outer-yarn brake (14) can be coupled to the free end-portion (8) in order to form a yarn input for the yarn-guide channel (10).

摘要： The invention relates to a method and an apparatus for producing a turf yarn for artificial turf. According to the invention, several monofilaments or ribbons are produced from one respective polymer material in two parallel extrusion processes, the turf yarn being formed by combining several monofilaments or ribbons obtained in the first extrusion process with several monofilaments or ribbons obtained in the second extrusion process. In order to improve especially the elasticity of an artificial turf carpet made from said turf yarn, the monofilaments or ribbons obtained in one of the extrusion processes are crimped before being combined, the crimped monofilaments or ribbons and the flat monofilaments or ribbons being produced in parallel next to each other and being joined in a winding station by means of a tie thread.

摘要： A textile yarn processing machine has a plurality of spindle assemblies for processing of yarn. Each spindle assembly includes mechanisms for forming a balloon of yarn which rotates around a spindle assembly central axis as the yarn travels through the spindle assembly during processing and a balloon limiter device surrounding the rotating balloon of yarn and having a generally cylindrical inside surface for frictional contact with the rotating balloon of yarn to restrict the size thereof. These devices (1) form an undulating pattern of travel for the yarn through the rotating balloon of yarn so as to create times of contact and times of no contact of predetermined segments of the yarn with the inside surface of the balloon limiter and (2) create relationships wherein the sum of the times of contact of a segment of yarn advancing through the yarn balloon with the inside surface of the balloon limiter is to the total time of advance of this yarn segment through the rotating balloon as is 1:5 to 1:200 and wherein each time of contact of the traveling yarn element with the inside surface of the balloon limiter is to each time of no contact as is 1:2 to 1:20.
