摘要： A method for operating a spindle (2) of a two-for-one twisting or cabling machine, in which an outer yarn (5) is drawn off a first feed package (7) and the spindle (2) rotates in a yarn balloon (B), wherein the spindle (2) comprises a device (6) for influencing the balloon yarn tension of an outer yarn (5), which is connected to a control circuit (18), and has a spindle pot (19) for receiving a second feed package (15), a yarn deflection device (20), a balancing system (9) for forming a twisting or cabling point as well as a spooling and winding device (12). The drive of the yarn balloon (B) is performed via a fixed throw-off point (21) on the yarn deflection device (20).

A common drive system is provided for rotating the ballooning means and for advancing the yarn, and a yarn accumulator is provided which is controlled by a sensor such that the drive means is operated only when the amount of yarn on the accumulator is less than a predetermined amount.

摘要： A textile apparatus is disclosed wherein a cylindrical package of strand material is mounted on an elongated hollow spindle and the strand material is withdrawn from the package and through the hollow spindle for further processing. A flyer arm is mounted on an extremity of the spindle for rotation thereabout with the arm extending radially outwardly of the spindle to overlie the outer circumference of the package. An adjustable strand tensioning device is mounted on the flyer adjacent the longitudinal axis of the spindle and longitudinally spaced from the end of the spindle and within an envelope defined by the path of movement of the strand material as it is guided by the flyer arm from the package into the hollow spindle.

摘要： This invention is a device for unwinding and guiding yarn from a feed bobbin located in a feed box. The device has an arm which is rotated by the tension of the unwinding yarn. More specifically, this invention is a device for unwinding and guiding yarn which has first unwinder arm rotating around the bobbin rotatably connected to a pivot positioned above the spindle head, and a second unwinder arm rotatably connected to the spindle for producing twisted yarn. The first unwinder arm is supported by a frame which is connected to the box containing the two superposed bobbins so as to allow the second unwinder arm to rotate within the rotatable trajectory of the first arm.

摘要： There is described a stator section, for a spindle which has a spindle rotor at least partly enclosing the stator section, wherein the stator section incorporates, in the region occupied by surfaces situated opposite the spindle rotor, a dust and thread catching means. To provide this means, parts of surfaces of the stator lying opposite the rotor may be roughened. For this purpose the stator may be provided with grooves having mechanically-roughened surfaces or may have wound around it a strip of Velcro or strip of some other material, whereby the foreign bodies which are carried by the air, which flows through the rotor on the counter-current principle, collect on the said roughened parts of the surface of the stator or on said strip, as a result of which the foreign bodies are prevented from reaching the region occupied by a spindle bearing arrangement. In the arrangement shown, a thread package carrier 7 of the stator section of a two-for-one twisting spindle has dust and thread catching means in the form of circumferential grooves 14 having surfaces of increased roughness.
