摘要： An ultra low loss dielectric thermosetting resin composition has at least one cyanate ester component (A) and at least one reactive intermediate component (B) that is capable of copolymerization with said component (A). The invention is a cyanate ester resin of the form: Tn-[W-(Z)f/(H)1−f-W]n−1-[W-(Z)f/(H)1−f-(OCN)f/(R)1−f]n+2, wherein T is a 1,3,5-substituted-triazine moiety (C3N3); W is a linking atom between triazine and either component A or component B; Z is component (A); H is component (B); OCN is a cyanate ester end group; R is a reactive end group of component B; n is an integer greater than or equal to 1; and f is a weight or mole fraction of component A. The composition exhibits excellent dielectric properties and yields a high performance laminate for use in high layer count, multilayer printed circuit board (PCB), prepregs, resin coated copper (RCC), film adhesives, high frequency radomes, radio frequency (RF) laminates and various composites.

摘要： A sulfonated polyphosphazene copolymer proton exchange membrane material, and a method for preparing such membrane includes a macromolecule initiator as bromo polyphosphazene is subjected to atom transfer radical polymerization with styrene, yielding a graft copolymer, which is hydrazinolyzed with hydrazine hydrate resulting in a copolymer including a hydroxyl group. The copolymer is reacted with 1,4-butane sultone to yield a sulfonated copolymer finally. The polymer is cross-linked with 2,6-di(hydroxymethyl)-4-methyl phenol (BHMP) as a cross linking agent in the presence of methyl sulfonic acid, yielding cross-linked proton exchange membrane. Such cross-linked graft copolymer membrane has high proton conductivity, low methanol hindrance, and low cost, and has ideal effect when applied in fuel cells as proton exchange membrane material.

摘要： Foams for filling cavities and crevasses and for forming foamed products are provided. The latex foam may include an A-side containing a functionalized latex and a B-side that contains a crosslinking agent and optionally a non-functionalized latex. The A- and/or B-side contain a blowing agent package or components forming the blowing agent package. The blowing agent package may be the combination of two or more chemicals that when mixed together form a gas or a chemical compound that, when activated by heat or light, forms a gas. In an alternate embodiment, the latex foam includes a functionalized latex, an acid, and an encapsulated crosslinking agent and base. Alternatively, the spray latex foam may include a functionalized latex, a crosslinking agent, and an encapsulated dry acid and dry base. The encapsulating agent may be a protective, non-reactive shell that can be broken or melted at the time of application.

摘要： Disclosed is a method for producing powder of a vinyl polymer containing a silicone polymer, which comprises the step of spray-drying a latex of the vinyl polymer containing a silicone polymer obtained by polymerization of a vinyl monomer in the presence of a latex of the silicone polymer, wherein 3.0 mmol or less of a sulfate is contained in 100 g of the powder of a vinyl polymer containing a silicone polymer. According to the present invention, a powder which can provide a shaped article excellent in impact resistance and hydrolysis resistance in the case when the powder is blended in a resin such as polycarbonate resin can be obtained.

摘要： A process for producing expandable thermoplastic resin beads which comprises suspending in an aqueous medium interpolymer beads comprising a polyphenylene ether resin and a polymerized vinyl aromatic monomer such as styrene, polymerizing the vinyl aromatic monomer in the presence of a polymerization catalyst to interpolymerize the vinyl aromatic monomer with the polyphenylene ether and, optionally, adding a cross-linking agent, to form interpolymerized thermoplastic resin beads, and introducing a blowing agent under pressure into the thermoplastic resin beads. The resulting resin beads have excellent foamability and molding fusability, and a foamed shaped article having superior thermal stability can be prepared from these beads.
