The lift additionally includes an air-storage reservoir configured to store pressurized air received from an external air source. The air-storage reservoir is fluidly connected to the lifting assembly, such that the air-storage reservoir is configured to cause the ram to retract within the cylinder even when the lift is not connected to the external air source.

The first leveling assembly includes a first pair of actuators positioned to facilitate a first pitch adjustment and a first roll adjustment of the first end of the chassis. The second leveling assembly includes a second pair of actuators positioned to facilitate a second pitch adjustment and a second roll adjustment of the opposing second end of the chassis. The control system is configured to (i) actively control the first pair of actuators and the second pair of actuators during a first mode of operation, and (ii) actively control the first pair of actuators and facilitate passive control of the second pair of actuators during a second mode of operation.

摘要： A wheel changing assembly for safely changing a wheel of a vehicle includes a jack that comprises a first housing. A first power module, a first microprocessor, a pump and a lift are coupled to and positioned in the first housing. The first microprocessor is operationally coupled to the first power module. The pump is operationally coupled to the first microprocessor. The lift is fluidically coupled to the pump. A plate is coupled to a second end of the lift. A plurality of wheels is coupled to a bottom of the first housing. A camera, a plurality of lights and a locator, which are coupled to and positioned in the plate, are operationally coupled to the first microprocessor. The camera is configured to image an underside of the vehicle during placement of the jack. The locator is configured to signal proper positioning of the jack relative to the frame of the vehicle.

An actuating unit is detachably coupled to the lift stand and includes an actuating unit frame, a hydraulic unit carried by the actuating unit frame, a hydraulic piston extendable and retractable with respect to the hydraulic unit and an actuating unit arm positional between first and second positions on the actuating unit frame. The actuating unit arm operably engages the hydraulic unit to extend and retract the hydraulic piston at the first and second positions, respectively, of the actuating unit arm. A lift arm is pivotally carried by the actuating unit frame and releasably engages the lift stand. The hydraulic piston engages the lift arm.

摘要： A power unit has a frame with a bottom and a pair of lift arms with a cover plate, and a bridge. A lower latch member has a forward end, a middle portion and a rearward end with the middle portion pivotally connected near the lower inner side of one of the lift arms. The rearward end is angled downward, extending below the lower side of the lift arm. The rearward end is biased downwardly and is engagable with the bottom of the frame. The forward end has an upward finger with a beveled-up nose thereon that is engagable with a downward lateral flange at the forward end of the bridge. The bridge is retained by the forward end of the lower latch member, and whereby when the lift arm is lowered to the lowermost position, the forward end is automatically released. An upper latch member has a forward end, a middle portion and a rearward end, with the middle portion pivotally connected to a pivot arm extending downwardly from the cover plate. The forward end has a downward finger with a beveled-down nose thereon, that is biased downwardly and is engagable with an upward lateral flange at the rearward end of the bridge. The rearward end has a button extending upwardly through an aperture in the upper cover plate to release the upper latch member.

摘要： A specialized dolly is provided that works with a hydraulic floor jack; together the assembly performs the lifting and moving of vehicles with ease and efficiency. The configuration and design of the dolly enables a standard hydraulic floor jack to be positioned within a frame of the dolly in a stationary position. A handle of a hydraulic floor jack can then be used to maneuver the combination dolly/floor jack assembly with ease on the floor of the repair shop. The dolly may be designed and configured to have stationary low resistance front rear wheel assemblies, both of which provide for convenient maneuvering and steering. The dolly's wheel tracks (distance between front wheels) and its wheelbase length (distance between front and rear wheels) allows the dolly to be stable and significantly maneuverable, especially over or around potholes, slopes, and ramps, and also provides greater safety for the operating technician.
