    • The invention relates to a scaffolding arrangement with a scaffolding assembled from individual scaffolding components for internal construction or maintenance work within a coker drum standing upright on the ground and which has a lower end portion with a cross-section which tapers in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the drum towards a closable opening at the lower end of the coker drum, the scaffolding comprising: a support section with several support posts each having a lower and an upper end, the support posts, with their lower ends being supported outside of the coker drum on the ground and each of them, through the opening provided on the lower end of the coker, extending in a vertical direction into the coker drum, wherein the support section comprises several support posts spaced from one another, a support frame comprising a plurality of support beams which are detachably connected to one another, the support frame being attached to and supported by said support section, a first working platform which is arranged on top of the support frame, the first working platform being preferably located within the tapered lower end portion of the coker drum; and a scaffold tower section having one or more further working platforms which is/are each arranged in an axial direction above the first working platform inside the coker drum. The vertical loads of the scaffolding as a whole, are solely transferred to the ground via the said support section of the scaffolding, which is fully self-supported. The invention further relates to a scaffolding for an aforesaid scaffolding arrangement (FIG. 1)

    • A pre-assembled walkway is provided, comprising an elongated walkway pan, a side railing subassembly, and a plurality of mounting brackets pivotally connecting the side railing subassembly to the walkway pan. The side railing subassembly comprises a plurality of vertical supports and handrails secured to tops of the vertical supports. The walkway is in a collapsed position when the side railing subassembly is pivoted in a first direction to the walkway pan with the vertical supports substantially parallel to the walkway pan and is in an erect position when the side railing subassembly is pivoted in a second, opposite direction with the vertical supports substantially orthogonal to the walkway pan.

    • An adjustable, articulable platform, changeable to and from a “U” shape to an “H” shape, is attachable to the distal end of an articulable support arm of a transport vehicle. The platform is arranged to adjustably surround an elevated chimney on at least three sides thereof. The platform comprises: a lower anchor plate centrally disposed within an elongated lower support frame; a rear anchor plate connected perpendicularly to the lower anchor plate, the rear anchor plate centrally and connectively disposed within an elongated rear wall frame, comprising bridging portions of the platform. A right sidewall frame and a left sidewall frame is connected to respective end portions of the elongated rear wall frame. A right slidable sidewall is slidably disposed within the right sidewall frame, and a left slidable sidewall is slidably disposed within the left sidewall frame, to permit forward and rearward adjustability to side rail and floor portions thereof around an elevated structure for supporting personnel and equipment therefor. Those side rail and floor panel portions are also adjustable transversely to squeeze closed together or slightly further apart according to the width of any chimney or the like. Such sideways adjustment is accomplished by supportive engagement of the mid portion of the rear wall frame and floor panel of its adjacent wall and floor panels.
