摘要： A device for inscription of identification units, wherein each identification unit has an identification plate or several one-piece contiguous identification plates, wherein each identification plate has an inscription surface and wherein the inscription surface or several inscription surfaces of each identification unit spans or span an inscription plane, includes: a magazine for holding a number of identification units bearing against one another with inscription planes oriented parallel to one another, the magazine having two guide walls for the identification units, which walls are spaced apart and extend parallel to one another or along a conveying direction extending perpendicular to the inscription planes and reduce the reciprocal spacing; a contact surface for the identification unit, which surface is disposed after the guide walls in the conveying direction; an inscription implement for inscription of the inscription surfaces; a chute which is accessible via an inlet opening in the contact surface accessible for transport of the identification units to the inscription implement and/or to a removal point, wherein the peripheral edge of the inlet opening has two edge portions which lie opposite one another, and the spacing of the edge portions relative to one another is smaller than the spacing relative to one another of the edges of the guide walls facing the support surface; and a slide arrangement disposed above the support surface and having at least one slide element, wherein the at least one slide element is movable from a retracted position spaced apart from an associated edge portion into a feed position in which the edge of the slide element facing the inlet opening is flush with the associated edge portion or projects beyond the associated edge portion.

摘要： A flats singulation apparatus includes a input buffer section having a substantially horizontal ramp which is adapted to support thereon a stack of flats mailpieces on edge. The buffer section includes a moving belt and ram plate for moving the stack of flat pieces toward the front end of the ramp. A transfer section is at the end of the ramp and is adapted to remove the flat pieces substantially one at a time from the ramp and drop them downwardly. The transfer section includes a plurality of edge rollers extending across the end of the ramp and adapted to move the flat pieces from the stack, and a ledge plate extending downwardly from the edge rollers and having a horizontal ledge onto which the flat pieces drop. A pusher shelf is movable across the ledge to push the flat pieces off of the shelf. A separation section extends substantially horizontally across the end of the transfer section and includes means for moving the flat pieces away from the transfer section and separating flat pieces.

摘要： A process and an apparatus for the extraction of pack blanks (10) from a blank magazine (25). A special problem with high-performance packing machines is the extraction of blanks from the blank magazine (25) of the packing machine, especially thin cardboard blanks which are produced outside the packing machine. The "transfer rollers" so far mainly used herefore take a lot of time and are ponderous due to their complex motions. In order to extract respective lowermost blanks (10) from a blank magazine (25), there is provided an extractor in the form of a blank segment (39) which grasps a blank at one side and leads the blank (10) with slight deformation, namely in an acute angle, to the plane of a conveyor track (38). Because of the very sparse movements of the blank (10) during extraction, the extraction process can be performed within short strokes.

摘要： In an apparatus for withdrawing flat folded articles arranged in a pile within a magazine, a support holds the flat folded articles together with first movable hold up members. A sensor detects the contact surfaces between a lowermost article of the pile and an above article so as to place contact surfaces of the lowermost article and above article in alignment with a second movable hold up member situated beside the magazine and operated to insert between the contact surfaces and hold the above article while the first hold up members are moved to a release position for releasing the lowermost article on a conveying belt. According to a claimed method, the first and second hold-up members are alternately operated to hold the pile of articles while the lowermost article is released.
