The cargo layer includes a pair of horizontally positioned outer deck boards and at least one horizontally positioned intermediate deck board therebetween. The at least one horizontally positioned intermediate deck board has opposing sidewalls, and a spaced apart openings at least partially extending through the opposing sidewalls. The pair of horizontally positioned outer deck boards have opposing sidewalls, and spaced apart openings extending through at least one of the sidewalls of each outer deck board. The spaced apart openings in each horizontally positioned outer deck board are aligned with the spaced apart openings in an adjacent sidewall of least one horizontally positioned intermediate deck board. 摘要： A half pallet for use with a pallet lift jack includes a deck from which extends a plurality of feet. A lateral projection extends inwardly from each of the feet. A vertical projection protrudes upwardly from an inner end of the lateral projection and is spaced from the foot such that a portion of a frame of the pallet lift jack can be received between the vertical projection and the foot to prevent outward deflection of the feet. A plurality of interlocking features is formed on the upper surface of the deck. In the example disclosed, each interlocking feature is a recess that receives both the foot and the lateral projection. The recess receives the foot and the lateral projection when in a stacked position and when in a cross-stacked position, thus providing increased stability to cross-stacked, empty half-pallets.

摘要： A series of transport carts are positioned in side by side relation in fore and aft extending spaced apart rows disposed along a delivery van to leave an aisle between them. The carts have wheel supported upright frames with bottom supports for the products disposed at a level above the floor of the van and open fronts from which the carts can be unloaded. The carts have rear posts which are disengageably locked in track sections provided in longitudinally spaced relation along the van side walls. Pallets with discs projecting downwardly from the floors of the pallets support the product stacks on the cart bottom supports. A hand truck with a bifurcated nose plate defining disc receiving arms engages under each pallet to enable removal of a pallet and product stack from the cart.
