摘要： The invention generally relates to devices used for material handling, such as specifically, pallets and skids. More specifically, the present invention is directed toward a folded corrugated pallet. The folded corrugated pallet includes a body defined by a single sheet of corrugated cardboard. The sheet includes a plurality of scored lines extending parallel with respect to each other. The sheet is folded along the scored lines to define a plurality of legs extending in the direction of the scored lines. The sheet further includes at least one base wall extending between each of the legs, and a pair of wings. Each of the wings defines terminal edges that extend parallel to the scored lines and lie adjacent to each other when the wings are folded over the base wall. A planar interior panel of corrugated cardboard is disposed between the wings and the base wall.

摘要： The invention generally relates to devices used for material handling, such as specifically, pallets and skids. More specifically, the present invention is directed toward a folded corrugated pallet including a body defined by a single sheet of corrugated cardboard. The sheet includes a plurality of scored lines extending parallel with respect to each other. The sheet is folded along the scored lines to define a plurality of legs extending in the direction of the scored lines and at least one base wall extending between each of the legs. A pair of wings extends parallel to the scored lines and away from each other when folded parallel to the base wall. A planar top panel is disposed on top of the wings and the base wall. The planar top panel and the wings cooperate to define terminal edges of the pallet that extend in cantilevered fashion adjacent one of the legs.

摘要： A corrugated pallet produced from two flat blanks is provided. The pallet may include a pallet top, a pallet bottom, and a plurality of corner straps locking the pallet top to the pallet bottom. Each of the pallet top and the pallet bottom may include folded portions, the folded portions of the pallet top interlocking with the folded portions of the pallet bottom when the pallet top and the pallet bottom are assembled to each other in nested relation. The pallet top may define a top surface of the pallet. The pallet bottom may define a bottom surface of the pallet. The corner straps may lock into one or both of the pallet top and the pallet bottom from the top or bottom surfaces of the pallet.

摘要： A composite pallet structure includes a unit pallet including: upper and lower basic supporting boards, at least two spaced-apart auxiliary rods attached to each of the corresponding sides of the upper and lower basic supporting boards, a plurality of spacers distributed between the auxiliary rods on the upper basic supporting board and the auxiliary rods on the lower basic supporting board, and a plurality of fixing elements for restricting the spacers within the space between the upper and lower basic supporting boards in order for the unit pallet to have high supporting strength. The composite pallet structure needs no soldering and, therefore, can be easily repaired and recycled.

摘要： A transport pallet, in the form of a square or rectangular board, is particularly suited for air transport. The transport pallet is formed to a large extent from plastics material. It has at least two intersecting reinforcing struts formed from a fiber-reinforced composite plastics material. The reinforcing struts lie adjacent each other via notches stabilizing the relative positions, constituting a plug-type connection. The transport pallet further has a plate-like core of mechanically stable foamed plastics material formed by several part-cores. The core is attached to or surrounds the reinforcing struts and holds the same in a stable position. The foamed plastics material core is sheathed by the fiber-reinforced composite plastics layer. The lateral edges of the pallet board thus formed are reinforced by light alloy profiled members pulled over the edges.

摘要： A corrugated paperboard pallet is produced from two flat blanks which comprise a pallet top and a pallet bottom. The two blanks are each folded to produce only two parallel vertically extending double thickness ribs, three horizontal panels, two vertical side walls and two horizontal flaps. The ribs of the pallet top and pallet bottom lock each other from opening in the center of the pallet by intersecting perpendicularly with notches in the ribs. The horizontal flaps lock the ribs from opening at the edges of the pallet by intersecting perpendicularly with notches, and the vertical sidewalls include vertical flaps that open inward defining fork passages whereby the vertical flaps lock said horizontal flaps from opening.

The system comprises a first pallet configured to be removably affixed below and have vertical relief from a second pallet when the system is in a fully assembled state. The system also includes a second pallet configured to be removably affixed on top of and have vertical relief from the first pallet. The system also includes a plurality of support members vertically arranged to support the second pallet on top of the first pallet and provide vertical relief between the first and second pallets when the movable modular system is in the fully assembled state. A plurality of fasteners are used to removably attach the ends of crossing support members to the vertically arranged support members when the system is in the fully assembled state.

摘要： A process for assembling a corrugated pallet having of two die cut corrugated paperboard blanks that form a pallet top and a pallet bottom, with each having at least one vertically extending double thickness rib, each rib having at least one notch, wherein said notches lock the opposing ribs from opening when the pallet top and pallet bottom are vertically nested together. In performance of the process a mix of machine and human performed operations is used. The machine forms the rib on each blank by applying in-plane pressure to the blank through protruding elements on the machine that engage the blank and move in relation towards each other, and the machine maintains the in-plane pressure to keep the rib from opening until a time after the pallet top and bottom are nested together. The machine uses rib folding plates that apply out-of-plane forces to the blanks to assist forming of the ribs by rotating in the out-of-plane direction when the in-plane compression is applied. Human operators load the blanks into the machine and form the sidewalls and fork openings.
