摘要： A label, a method of assembling the label, and a method for using the label are presented. The label includes a base ply. A tab extends from the base ply in a longitudinal direction. The label also includes a top ply located atop and dimensioned to cover the base ply. The tab of the base ply is not covered by the top ply. The label further includes an outer layer located atop and dimensioned to cover the top ply. The tab of the base ply is secured to the outer layer. Moving the outer layer in a direction pulls a portion of the base ply from beneath the top ply such that the portion of the base ply can be visibly perceived.

摘要： A system for labeling a container includes a label forming section, a buffer section, and a bonding section. The label forming section includes a first rotatable turret having a plurality of forming mandrels. The buffer section includes a second rotatable turret having a plurality of buffer receptacles. The bonding section includes a third rotatable turret having a plurality of bonding stations. The label forming section forms a label in a frustoconical shape using one of the forming mandrels and transfers the label to one of the buffer receptacles of the buffer section. The buffer section receives, in a buffer receptacle, the label followed by a container blank, and transfers the label and the container blank together to one of the bonding stations of the bonding section. The bonding section bonds the label to the container blank in the bonding station.

摘要： A spreading unit for a container sleeving device, configured to spread open flattened tubular foil material to form a sleeve, to bring the sleeve in a target tubular shape and to discharge the sleeve towards the container, the spreading unit including a mandrel including: an upstream mandrel element for spreading open the flattened tubular foil material having a substantially constant cross-section in axial direction; a downstream mandrel element having a non-constant cross-section in axial direction; an intermediate mandrel element positioned between the upstream and downstream mandrel elements; wherein the downstream mandrel element comprises flaring sides and tapering sides and the intermediate mandrel element is recessed relative to the upstream mandrel element to allow the upstream part of a sleeve to move radially inward when the downstream part of the sleeve moves along the flaring sides of the downstream mandrel element.

摘要： An apparatus and method for orienting a tubular heat-shrinkable sleeve relative to a container. The apparatus includes a sleeve orientation unit that uses a moveable support surface to hold and rotate the sleeve relative to the container. To that end, the apparatus further includes a determining unit for determining an angular position difference between the container and the sleeve relative to an axis perpendicular to the conveyor belt on which the container is transported. The angular position difference is used to control the movement of the support surface.

The label fitting device includes a feed unit which feeds downward the label base material while changing the carrying direction thereof, and a label fitting unit which carries downward the label and fits the label to the container. The label is formed by cutting the label base material fed by the feed unit. The label fitting unit is provided so as to be turnable relative to the container to thereby enable adjustment of the fitting angular position of the cylindrical label relative to the circumferential direction of the container.
