    • A cover for a propeller, such as a boat propeller, including a face having a topside and an underside, and a sidewall having a first edge and a second edge. The first edge is affixed to the face on substantially all edges of the face, and the second edge forms a channel for enclosing a cord. A stretchable and flexible mesh forms at least a portion of said sidewall that facilitates air flow in the cover. The second edge of the sidewall defines an opening into an interior cavity formed by the sidewall and the underside of the face, and the cord functions as a drawstring that enables a user to adjust a size of the opening during application and removal of the cover from the propeller.

    • A method and apparatus for removing the separable drive transfer and propeller shaft housing from the outdrive housing which is mounted to project rearwardly from the lower end of the stern of a boat, under a swimmer's boarding platform projecting rearwardly from the stern. The drive transfer and propeller shaft housing is decoupled from the outdrive housing after a front to rear extending track, clamped to the platform, has its wheeled trolley with a dependent hanger moved along the track under the platform, and the hanger is coupled to the drive transfer and propeller shaft housing. The trolley, with its suspended drive transfer and propeller shaft housing, is then moved rearwardly along the track to an accessible position for work thereon. Thereafter, the drive transfer and propeller shaft housing is moved forwardly along the track under the platform to a position of adjacency with the out drive housing and recoupled with it.

The tool (20) includes vertical alignment structure (104, 86, 88) vertically locating the proper height of the front engine mounts (46 and 48) prior to installation of the engine (23) to pre-set the height adjustment of the front of the engine (23) to assure proper alignment of the engine (23) with the gimbal bearing (26) after installation of the engine (23).

    • A tool comprising a handle, a shaft, and a pair of spaced-apart projections for use in removing the propeller from a watercraft. The projections are generally arranged at a distal end of the shaft so as to extend therefrom in a generally perpendicular direction. The projections may be placed over the rim of a propeller hub, rim of an exhaust port, or the lower portion of the trailing edge of the propeller blade generally close to the hub. The tool is then rotated to pinch the object placed therein between the two projections. The user can then utilize the handle and the shaft to have a lever arm with which they can use the pinch point as a grip on the propeller and manually prevent the propeller from rotating while attempting to rotate a nut holding the propeller to the watercraft with their other hand.
