    • A brake line bleeding device including a main body with a cylinder and an extending stem. The cylinder is supported at a fixed location within the vehicle, such as upon the steering wheel. The stem is secured, at an end opposite the cylinder, to the brake pedal. A pressurized conduit extends from a source and is communicated to an input of a powered manifold mounted to the cylinder. A two position valve is integrated into the powered manifold and, upon receipt of an input signal, is actuated by a control mechanism within the manifold to switch between first and second outlet conduits extending from the manifold and in order to communicate the pressurized source to respective forward and rearward locations of the cylinder. In this fashion, pressurized fluid or airflow is alternatively communicated to opposite ends of the cylinder in order to reciprocally drive the stem in a bi-linear fashion relative to the housing, such as in order to successively pump the brake in a brake fluid servicing or bleeding operation.

    • A braking apparatus used to brake a vehicle has a brake actuator that actuates at least one brake of the vehicle through a cable that mechanically interconnects the brake actuator to the brake pedal of the vehicle through a cable shield tube that is anchored to a first anchor point and a second anchor point. The first anchor point is separated a fixed distance from the brake actuator by a base plate, and the second attachment point is separated a fixed distance from the brake pedal by attaching the second attachment point to a firewall of the vehicle.

    • An automotive brake tester assembly including a housing with a force applying pedal attached thereto. A brake pedal contact member is slidably disposed in and extends from the housing. A floor board contact member is slidably disposed in and extends from the housing. Scales are disposed on a plate attached to the housing with the first scale indicating the amount of brake pedal travel and the second scale indicating the ratio of the distance between the pedal and floor board when the pedal is fully depressed and the distance between the brake pedal and the floor board when the brake pedal is in the non-depressed position. A first indicator means is connected to the pedal contact member and is movable along the first scale and a second indicator means is connected to the floor board contact member and is movable along the second scale. There is also included a flag connected to the pedal contact member and movable out through an opening in the housing when a predetermined force is being applied to a brake pedal, the predetermined force resulting from depression of a spring which reacts between the pedal contact member and the housing to urge the pedal contact member out of the housing.
