摘要： A device for finding the center of mass for a marine or similar vessel that includes a cradle seated on a fulcrum that can hold the vessel. The frame upon which the cradle is positioned is shaped to allow the front and back of the cradle to tip upwards and downwards much like a seesaw depending on how the vessel is balanced in the cradle. The device can be used to locate the center of mass or gravity of a vessel or to determine the position of a vessel such that it applies a predetermined amount of weight to the front or back end of a trailer or other supporting device. Scales can be located at either end of the device to calculate the amount of weight exerted by the vessel at either end of the cradle.

摘要： An adapter for mounting to a bow eye of a boat and receiving a latch for securing the boat to a trailer is provided. The adapter includes a receiving member defining an aperture for receiving the latch, first and second mounting plates extend from the receiving member, a first fastener extends through the first mounting plate, the bow eye, and the second mounting plate for securing the adapter to the bow eye. The receiving member may include a base attached to an at least partially straight engaging leg which together at least partially define the aperture. The base and engaging leg may be a substantially U-shaped member such as a U-shaped bolt. A damper may be attached to one or more portions of the receiving member to prevent damage to the boat and/or the bow eye.

摘要： A buoyancy tank for a portable floatation apparatus which allows for the elevation of a watercraft above a water-line and which allows for the removal of the watercraft from a body of water. The buoyancy tank has at least one and/or a plurality of integrated cylindrical structures which supports the floatation apparatus in transport and storage. The integrated cylindrical structures provide sufficient support to allow the removal of the floatation apparatus by use of a boat lift and further provide sufficient support to allow a watercraft to be stacked on top of the floating apparatus while the floating apparatus is stacked on top of the floating apparatus for the purposes of storage. A plurality of said buoyancy tanks may be connected to the portable floatation apparatus by use of connecting means. The portable floatation apparatus should have a pumping device which pumps a sufficient volume of air into a plurality of the buoyancy tank which is effective to selectively and conveniently elevate a watercraft above a water line.

摘要： A transport rack mounts to a hitch mount of a vehicle and carries an elongated item such as a canoe or ladder. The transport rack includes a support structure where the elongated item may be loaded. The support structure is coupled to rotation plates while the rotation plates are rotationally coupled to a support post that is coupled to a hitch mount post that attaches to the vehicle. The rotation plates and support structure rotate together relative to the support post to provide an adjustable angle of the elongated item being carried by the support structure. This allows an end of the elongated item to rise above an obstruction such as the rear of the vehicle to which the transport rack is attached.

摘要： An electric propulsion system for use in marine applications. The system comprises rechargeable battery cells, AC or DC electric motors for propulsion, control units to manage the flow of energy between the battery cells and the motor, a water cooling loop that pumps water through heat exchangers then out of the watercraft for thermal management. Closed cooling loops may be employed to thermally manage the motor, batteries, controllers, inverters, charging apparatus and other components by running through coolant through the cooling loops to properly chill or heat the coolant fluid. The unit is charged through shore based power, solar and other sources, including the possibility of power sources through hull or hanging turbines to generate mechanical energy from the flow of water as the watercraft is propelled. The whole system is controlled by a vehicle control unit and a battery management system.

摘要： A suspension assembly includes an axle pivoting plate mounted to the frame at a first pivot point and rotationally fixed to the axle. Also included is a connection arm having a first end onto which the wheel is mounted and a second end for rotationally fixing the axle to the connection arm. An actuator is pivotally connected to the frame at a second pivot point, and is pivotally connected to the axle pivoting plate at a third pivot point. The first pivot point, the second pivot point and the third pivot point are all located below the lower surface of the side rail. When the actuator is extended, the axle pivoting plate pivots about the first pivot point causing the axle and connection arm to swing rearwardly and rotate, causing the wheel to move vertically with respect to the frame to displace the trailer to a lowered position.

摘要： A trailer is provided for removing a boat lift from a body of water. The trailer has a trailer body with a stationary axle at one end thereof. A lifting surface is movably positioned relative to the trailer body and is movable upwardly therefrom with a scissor lift. A pivoting axle assembly is provided on the trailer body so as to lift the wheels of the stationary axle to allow for the trailer to be moved within the boat lift. When the wheels of the stationary axle are lowered by raising the pivoting axle assembly, the lifting surface can then be moved upwardly so as to contact and lift the boat lift out of the body of water.
