    • A suspension assembly includes an axle pivoting plate mounted to the frame at a first pivot point and rotationally fixed to the axle. Also included is a connection arm having a first end onto which the wheel is mounted and a second end for rotationally fixing the axle to the connection arm. An actuator is pivotally connected to the frame at a second pivot point, and is pivotally connected to the axle pivoting plate at a third pivot point. The first pivot point, the second pivot point and the third pivot point are all located below the lower surface of the side rail. When the actuator is extended, the axle pivoting plate pivots about the first pivot point causing the axle and connection arm to swing rearwardly and rotate, causing the wheel to move vertically with respect to the frame to displace the trailer to a lowered position.

    • A trailer is provided for removing a boat lift from a body of water. The trailer has a trailer body with a stationary axle at one end thereof. A lifting surface is movably positioned relative to the trailer body and is movable upwardly therefrom with a scissor lift. A pivoting axle assembly is provided on the trailer body so as to lift the wheels of the stationary axle to allow for the trailer to be moved within the boat lift. When the wheels of the stationary axle are lowered by raising the pivoting axle assembly, the lifting surface can then be moved upwardly so as to contact and lift the boat lift out of the body of water.

    • A vehicle system is disclosed herein. The vehicle system includes first and second shell members, each extending along respective first and second axes between respective stern ends and junction ends. Each shell member also includes respective hull walls extending along the respective axes, interconnecting the respective stern ends and junction ends. Each shell member defines respective volumes of space accessible through respective perimeters. The vehicle system also includes a first hinge assembly interconnecting the first shell member and the second shell member. The first hinge assembly is mounted to the first junction end and to the second junction end. The first hinge assembly effectuates controlled pivoting movement of the first shell member and the second shell member with respect to each other whereby the first shell member and the second shell member are configurable in a first configuration in which the first axis and the second axis are spaced from an parallel to one another and in a second configuration in which the first axis and the second axis are collinear.
