摘要： A method and apparatus for controlling frame rise on a heavy duty truck having a frame, a drive axle connected to the frame, and a selectively lockable suspension component disposed therebetween for maintaining the relative position therebetween. Signals indicative of at least one of the following vehicle operating parameters: engine speed, brake pressure, vehicle speed, air bag pressure, steering wheel angle, vehicle height, or throttle position are monitored and a predicted thrust is calculated that will be applied to the drive axle based on the monitored signals. The selectively lockable suspension component is locked if the predicted thrust exceeds a predetermined threshold and is also controlled with respect to other operating parameters such as whether vehicle brakes are applied, any instantaneous change in torque, vehicle operating speed, and the length of time the selectively lockable suspension component has been locked.

摘要： A connection arrangement is for an electrical connection from an interior room of a sealed housing to an outside of the sealed housing. The connection arrangement includes a first connection line, a second connection line, and an interconnecting element. The first connection line is adapted to be electrically coupled to an electric source arranged outside the housing. The second connection line is adapted to be electrically coupled to an electric element arranged in the interior room. The first connection line is configured for being guided through an opening in a wall of the housing into the interior room. An end section of the first connection line and an end section of the second connection line are both electrically and/or mechanically connected to the interconnecting element to establish an electrical connection from the interior room to the outside of the sealed housing. The end section of the first connection line and the interconnecting element are both sealed using a sealing material with respect to the opening in the wall such that the interior room of the housing is sealed with respect to the surroundings of the housing.

摘要： A vehicle control system having plurality of control units, as well as sensors and actuators having a comparatively high degree of importance in terms of control by these control units, which are separately connected to first and second transmission lines. Sensors and actuators having a comparatively low degree of importance are assigned to the second transmission line. The outputs from the comparatively important sensors enter the respective control units directly via the first transmission line. A back-up program for backing up one control unit in case of failure is stored beforehand in another control unit. If the control unit fails, the other control unit performs back-up control to take over its tasks.
