摘要： A trifold side seamed plastic produce bag includes a front wall and a taller back wall, first and second side edges sealed together and a seamless bag bottom. The taller back wall provides means for finding the bag opening. The bag is joined at the side edges to additional bags by a perforation. The bag is corona treated on at least one wall and promotional material is printed on the treated surface. The bags are folded to one third of their height to fit compact bag roll dispensers. The bags are folded in a Z-fold or C-fold configuration. The method and apparatus for producing the bags includes a slitter that removes a strip of plastic from only the top layer of the bag stream to form an extended flap on each bag. The method includes manufacturing the bags and winding them onto cores or forming the bags into coreless rolls.

摘要： A mass airflow sensor is disclosed which uses a small, thin dielectric diaphragm providing good thermal isolation for thin-film heating and temperature sensing elements, resulting in high flow sensitivity and low current operation of the heating element. The dielectric diaphragm is bounded by a p-etch-stopped silicon rim. The mass airflow sensor includes a primary sensor circuit which maintains a heated primary temperature sensing element and an ambient air temperature sensing element at a constant temperature difference. A slave sensor circuit, which includes a plurality temperature sensing elements, monitors heat loss due to airflow at a particular location on the diaphragm and generates an output signal indicative of airflow which is independent of ambient air temperature.

The apparatus includes web guide rollers defining a nip, and a plurality of peripheral grooves in the guide rollers in which upper and lower air directing tubes are positioned to guide a web as it passes downstream of the feed rollers. A continuously transversely moving severing knife is provided downstream of the feed rollers and below the plane defined by the moving web. A pair of welding jaws are provided adjacent the cutting knife to grip the web in a plane below the web movement plane to weld the plies of the web together and to deflect the web into position for providing a transverse cut therein by means of the severing knife. A pivot lever is provided to pivot downstream ends of the lower air directing tubes in a downward direction to prevent interference between the downwardly deflected web and the downstream ends of the air directing tubes. A set of clamping jaws is provided on the opposite side of the severing knife from the welding jaws in order to securely hold the web during the cutting operation.
