    • A liner for a cargo container and a method of installing a liner inside a cargo container. The liner comprises an inflatable body and left and right connecting strips that are connected to the liner body. The left connecting strip extends along and laterally projects outside a bottom left edge of the liner body, and the right connecting strip extends along and laterally projects outside a bottom right edge of the liner body. The liner is placed inside the container, with the left connecting strip positioned on the container floor adjacent the left side wall of the container, and with the right connecting strip positioned on the container floor adjacent the right side wall of the container. These two connecting strips are then releasably clamped to the container floor, for example by securely nailing wooden slats to the container floor, over the connecting strips. Also disclosed is a method of fluidizing a bulk cargo inside a lined cargo container to facilitate unloading the cargo from the container.

    • A silo for pulverulent and other loose materials has outer silo walls, a lower circular silo base, a conical cover in the center of the lower circular silo base, and an upper intermediate circular silo base arranged between the outer silo wall and the conical cover and above the lower circular silo base. An annular space is formed between the upper and lower silo bases to act as a collecting chamber for receiving loosened material from the silo upper storage area and collecting and feeding the lossened material to discharge outlets in the lower silo base. The loose material passes via radially directed slots formed in the intermediate silo base from the upper silo area into the collecting chamber. The slots are adustable and pneumatic mechanisms are located adjacent the slots for fluidizing and ensuring proper mass flow of the materials from the upper silo area into the collecting chamber. Outlets are located in the lower silo base for discharge of loosened material held in the outlet chamber.

    • A particulate solids transport bag with a gas assist unloading feature. The bag is one having an enclosing flexible side wall, or walls, flexible bottom wall provided with an opening, preferably a spout, and a gas distributor. The gas distributor is of tubular shape formed by a flexible material located atop or upon, around or surrounding said bottom wall opening, or spout, and contains a gas permeable upper face, gas impervious lower face and gas inlet into the tubular space. Gas, particularly air, is injected via the inlet into the tubular opening and passed through the gas permeable upper face of the flexible material to aerate and render the solids flowable for discharge through the opening, or spout, of the bottom wall.
