摘要： An apparatus for manufacturing an absorbent body of an absorbent article by depositing a liquid absorbent material on an air-permeable member by passing an air that contains the liquid absorbent material in a thickness direction of the air-permeable member, the apparatus including: a plurality of plates that are stacked in the thickness direction, that constitutes the air-permeable member, each of which includes a plurality of air holes that penetrate the plate in the thickness direction and that allow the air to pass, and each of which includes a joining portion for joining to an adjacent plate in the thickness direction in a portion of the plate in which the air holes are not formed, the plurality of air holes of each of the plates being arranged so as to communicate with corresponding air holes of an adjacent plate in the thickness direction, corresponding air holes of all the plates stacked in the thickness direction having a same shape.

Provided are a polyimide tube including a base resin containing a polyimide resin having good rigidity and a soft polyimide resin having good flexibility in a mass ratio of 30:70 to 70:30, 20% to 50% by volume of graphite, 3% by volume or more of a highly conductive carbon black particle, and 0.5% by volume or more of a carbon nanotube relative to the volume of the base resin, a method for producing the polyimide tube, and a fixing belt including the polyimide tube as a base.

摘要： A method of manufacturing a two-layer roll having a foamed elastic layer provided on a core, and an elastic layer provided on the foamed elastic layer includes the steps of forming the elastic layer, which has a length of 200 mm to 400 mm and outside diameter of 16 mm or less, by use of a cylindrical mold holding a first cylindrical member used to form the outer cylindrical surface of the elastic layer, the first cylindrical member being manufactured by means of machining a solid member; forming a solid primary layer, which has a length of 200 mm to 400 mm and is to be foamed into the foamed elastic layer, on the core by means of side extrusion; setting the formed elastic layer and the core having the solid primary layer formed thereon in a second cylindrical member of a foaming mold; and foaming the solid primary layer into the foamed elastic layer to form the two-layer roll having the formed elastic layer and the elastic layer, the formed elastic layer and elastic layer having a length of 200 mm to 400 mm.

摘要： A steering wheel capable of giving the impression that it is formed thereon with a woodgrain pattern in a manner to extend in a circumferential direction thereof, resulting in the steering wheel having both an appearance and feel of wood which is substantially equal to that of natural wood. The steering wheel includes a rim section having a core incorporated therein. The rim section is constituted by rim elements made of a thermosoftening synthetic resin material to which woodmeal is added, resulting in the rim section being formed thereon with a flow pattern. The rim elements are each re-shaped from a straight rod-like configuration into an arcuate configuration in conformity to a curvature of the core and mounted on the core, so that the flow pattern may be transformed into an annular flow pattern.

摘要： This invention provides improved methods and compositions for achieving material coloration using particle scattering. These coloration effects can be designed to be either highly stable or dependent upon the switching effects of either temperature, integrated thermal exposure, moisture absorption, or exposure to actinic radiation. Articles employing materials with these coloration effects are described. Composition comprise a solid, light-transmitting matrix component having a non-liquid particle scattering colorant dispersed. Articles are produced wherein another solid second matrix component has an electronic transition colorant dispersed therein and the first and second compositions are disposed on one another, and optionally interpenetrate each other. Colored articles are produced in the form of fibers, films and molded articles.
