    • A method of renovating an existing pipeline comprises spray-coating the interior of the pipeline using a two part coating system of which the two parts are mixed at the time of application. One part of the system comprises a polyisocyanate whilst the second part comprises one or more oligomeric polyamines, optionally further blended with a secondary aliphatic polyamine, or the second part comprises one or more aromatic polyamines blended with one or more polyols. The mixture forms a coating on the interior surface of the pipeline and forms, at a high cure rate, a monolithic flexible lining which exhibits high strength and a high level of adhesion to the pipe wall.

    • A method and apparatus for applying a liner to a pipe is disclosed. The apparatus includes a base assembly having a plurality of guide rails and a shuttle plate attached thereto. The apparatus also includes a motor module attached to an end of the base assembly. An extension arm is connected to a top surface of the shuttle plate. The extension arm has a spray head assembly attached at an opposite end thereof. The extension arm and spray head assembly will move relative to the base assembly of the apparatus. A fast cure coating will be applied via the spray head assembly to the interior surface of a pipe being rehabilitated. The spray head assembly will have an air blow off mechanism therein thus allowing for the tip of the spray head assembly to stay relatively clog free during the fast cure coating operation of the apparatus. The methodology also includes an oscillation system wherein the spray head assembly will move relative to the base assembly thus creating an over lapping pattern for the spray coating being applied to the interior surface of the pipeline. This oscillation system will allow for a more uniform coating to be applied.

    • An article having an internal passage therein and an internal article surface is coated by providing a coating slurry that is a mixture of a deposition source including a source of aluminum, a halide activator, and a flowable carrier comprising a flowable compound selected from the group consisting of a flowable organic compound and a flowable inorganic compound. There is no oxide dispersant in the coating slurry. The coating slurry is introduced into the internal passage and dried to remove at least a portion of the carrier therefrom and leave a dried coating material. The article surface in gaseous communication with the dried coating material is heated to form an aluminum-containing coating bonded to the article surface. Any residual dried coating material is removed by blowing compressed air through the internal passage.

    • A method for filling a container involves supplying a barrier layer to the inside of a container and irradiating the inside with a high energy ray to form a barrier layer on the inner surface of the container and simultaneously sterilizing the inside and discharging a residual barrier material precursor gas and a by-product gas from the container before or during the filling of liquid food into the container. The method allows the formation of a continuous barrier layer covering edges, gloves, clearances and gaps inside the container. Automatic and effective discharge of a residual barrier material precursor gas and a by-product gas from the container through the filling of liquid food is allowed. The method avoids the necessity of chemical disinfectants through sterilization of the inside of a container by irradiation with a high energy ray and thereafter filling a liquid food in an aseptic state.

    • An apparatus and method for applying a thermoplastic powder to threads located in a bore of an internally threaded fastener having, a powder supply conduit in communication with a powder source and a powder application conduit defining a first passageway having a powder discharge port and a second passageway having a powder inlet port located adjacent the discharge port which is in communication with a powder collection system.
