摘要： An injection press for molding pieces of elastomer comprises a fixed platen, a moving platen, and a turret carrying a plurality of molds, the turret and the molds being interposed between the two platens so as to be capable of being clamped between them in order to close the molds, and the turret being mounted to rotate so as to move each mold sequentially between an injection station, vulcanization stations, and an unmolding station. The press also comprises an injector device adapted to inject elastomer into each mold while it is in the injection station, heater devices adapted to heat the molds, and a control device adapted to move the moving platen and to cause the turret to turn.

摘要： In order to achieve lower costs in a molding apparatus using a mold by reducing mold cleaning steps following releasing of the product from the mold and shortening the molding cycle, the apparatus is equipped with a plurality of fixed molds and movable molds which are heated to the temperature necessary to harden a molding material and come together by means of clamping to form a cavity, and a non-heated cold runner which supplies the molding material from an injection device to the interior of the cavity via a gate opened in the movable mold, the fixed molds and movable molds being movable between an injection stage where the injection device and cold runner (32) are present and an opening stage near the injection stage.

At the opening station, the lower mold of each unit first is opened and then is closed relative to the upper mold, the opening and closing of the lower mold being effected by an hydraulically actuated puller block adapted to be moved between raised and lowered positions.
