摘要： The method of recycling carbon fiber prepreg waste includes collecting uncured carbon fiber prepreg waste, where the carbon fiber prepreg waste still includes the backing film associated with the carbon fiber prepreg (typically in the form of a colored polyethylene layer). The uncured carbon fiber prepreg waste is then shredded and inserted into either an open or a closed mold. The mold is then inserted into a hot press, where the shredded carbon fiber prepreg waste is cured under selected temperature and pressure for a selected period of time, dependent upon the particular volume of waste and the desired recycled product. Alternatively, the shredded carbon fiber prepreg waste may be rolled in a hot metallic roller or extruded in a hot melt extruder.

摘要： A method is provided in which suitable carbon-fiber scrap is fed, together with a plastic polymer, to a pulverizer and extruder in order to produce a carbon-fiber polymer mass therefrom and to impregnate the mass with a resin. A regrind prepreg, which is given suitable forms and/or lengths, is thus obtained. The regrind prepregs thus obtained can then be given an approximately final form in an additional step by way of an extrusion process.

摘要： The present invention provides a method of reusing prepreg material. The method comprises providing a remnant prepreg, defining a pattern of cutting the remnant prepreg framework to form a continuous strip of the remnant prepreg framework, and cutting the remnant prepreg framework to form a continuous strip of the remnant prepreg framework. The remnant prepreg framework continuous strip may be extruded into a short fibre molding compound (SMC). The SMC may then be used to make parts with lower structural requirements than the parts cut out of the prepreg broadgood. Such SMC parts may be used in industries such as aerospace; automotive; other transportation such as trucks, buses, and motorcycles; sporting goods; and wind.

摘要： Disclosed is a method for manufacturing a soundproofing board part having improved sound absorption performance. The soundproofing board part is manufactured by using, as a material, a recycled soundproofing material which contains a polyurethane foam having excellent sound absorption performance and impact resilience during the press molding; and by producing a sound absorption part on the back surface of the soundproofing board part through a remolding processing method. Also disclosed is a soundproofing board part manufactured by the method.Accordingly, sound absorption performance of the soundproofing board part is improved by about 20% or greater, manufacturing cost thereof may be reduced by recycled resources utilizing waste sheets, and manufacturing process may be simplified compared the related art.

摘要： A method reclaims metalized polymer film or mixtures containing metal and/or metal alloys into a metal-containing, polymeric film. The resulting film structure has better oxygen and moisture barrier properties when metalized than plain metalized polymer films. The polymer to be reclaimed, originates in sheet form, and is densified, as by shredding, pelletizing and/or re-extruding into fine particulate form such as chips or pellets. The reclaimed polymeric film can be used, in a range of concentrations, to produce biaxially oriented polyester film for metalizing.

摘要： Thermosetting resins and thermosetting composites comprising the thermosetting resins are hot-formable. The compositions result from contacting at least one thermosetting resin precursor with at least one hardener selected from acid anhydrides in the presence of at least one transesterification catalyst. The thermosetting resin precursor includes hydroxyl functions and/or epoxy groups, and optionally ester functions, and the total molar quantity of the transesterification catalyst is between 5 and 25% of the total molar quantity of hydroxyl and epoxy contained in the thermosetting resin precursor. Methods for manufacturing articles comprising the thermosetting resins and methods for recycling the thermosetting resins are also disclosed.
