摘要： A polishing apparatus connected to a robot arm and used to polish a workpiece includes a bracket, a polishing assembly, and a positioning assembly. The polishing assembly is mounted on the bracket and includes a driver and a polishing plate connected to the driver. The driver is capable of driving the polishing plate to rotate, and defines an annular positioning groove around the spin axis. The positioning assembly includes a first positioning plate and a second positioning plate mounted on the bracket and opposite to the first positioning plate. The first positioning plate and the second positioning plate are clamped into two sides of the positioning groove, whereby the driver is clamped between the first positioning plate and the second positioning plate.

摘要： A blade sharpening system is provided that includes a base, and a pivoting member rotatably coupled to the base by a shaft. The blade sharpening system also includes a sharpener coupled to the pivoting member and configured to engage a generally circular blade of an agricultural implement while the generally circular blade is mounted on the agricultural implement. The pivoting member is configured to enable movement of the sharpener to accommodate lateral variations in a profile of the generally circular blade, and the shaft is movable relative to the pivoting member to adjust a contact force between the sharpener and the generally circular blade.

摘要： Enhanced methods are disclosed for performing operations such as cleaning, inspection or data acquisition on an external surface of a hollow cylindrical tubular. Preferred embodiments include providing a fluid dispenser and an abrasion assembly on a buggy that travels up and down the length of the tubular as the tubular rotates. The fluid dispenser includes nozzles that dispense cleaning fluids onto the tubular's external surface. The abrasion assembly includes a swivel brush and a brush train providing different styles of abrasion cleaning of the tubular's external surface. Preferred embodiments of the buggy also carry a range finding laser and an optical camera generating samples that may be processed in real time into data regarding the surface contours and the diameter variations on the tubular's external surface. Cleaning and inspection variables such as tubular rotational speed, or buggy speed, may be adjusted responsive to measured surface contour data.

摘要： The present invention relates to a relatively lightweight, portable, hand controlled finishing machine for finishing cement like surfaces. The cement finishing machine comprises an elongated shaft that makes up the main frame thereof, and a rotary wheel rotatively mounted to said elongated shaft and driven by an electric motor also mounted to said elongated shaft. Finishing elements such as rocks, brushes, or even trowels are detachably secured to an outer exposed radial face of said rotary wheel. In operation, the cement finishing machine is supported adjacent a wall or surface to be finished and during the course of operation, an operator is able to manipulate and control the main frame such that the finishing elements engage and act upon the surface being worked.
