摘要： A clamp apparatus includes a mounting module, a clamp module, and an actuator. The clamp module includes two facing arms and a cam clamped between the two arms. Each arm is rotatably mounted to the mounting module and has a clamp end. The clamp module is configured to have a clamped configuration in which each clamp end is engaged with the object and an open configuration in which the object is free from each of the clamp ends, and further configured to operate between the clamped configuration and the open configuration. The actuator is configured to drive the cam thereby imparting motive force to the two arms during the operation between the clamped configuration and the open configuration.

摘要： A feed unit is used to feed connection elements from a receiving position to a transfer position along a feed direction. The feed unit has a receiving part to which each connection element can be fed individually. A head piece is movably mounted in the receiving part and has a receiving region for the nuts, and a thrust unit to move the head piece. The head piece is rotated from a first rotational position into a second rotational position, being reached in an intermediate position, by a rotary device. A slider element moves relative to the head piece out of the intermediate position into a transfer position within the head piece such that the nuts are brought out of the head piece into the transfer position. The rotary device has a mechanical forced guidance unit which includes a control sleeve with a curved path into which a control element engages.

The apparatus also includes a hollow channel that includes a stem portion and a tapered portion between the inlet and the outlet. The tapered portion includes tapered compliant fingers having an initial diameter. The hollow channel is configured to guide the at least one hardware fastener from the inlet to the tapered portion. The tapered compliant fingers are configured to stop the at least one hardware fastener from gravity feeding through the outlet and to retain the at least one hardware fastener within the hollow channel. The tapered portion is configured to radially spread the compliant fingers to an expanded diameter to permit the at least one hardware fastener to release through the outlet.

摘要： A fastener delivery apparatus includes a nose assembly to releasably hold a fastener. The nose assembly includes a plurality of balls or rollers and associated biasing members to provide a biasing force which biases the balls or rollers such that they engage with the fastener. Each biasing member exerts force in a first direction and an associated ball or roller moves in a second direction which is different from the first direction. A force transfer surface is provided between the ball or roller and the biasing member, the force transfer surface acting to convert at least a component of the force exerted by the biasing member in the first direction into force exerted on the balls or rollers in the second direction.
