摘要： A bearing box for a rotating roller for supporting or transporting a high-temperature object. The bearing box includes a bearing and seal units disposed therein. A cooling jacket is disposed at an outer periphery of the bearing box so that the cooling jacket covers at least a portion of an axial region of the bearing and at least a portion of an axial region of the seal unit. The cooling jacket has a cooling water inlet and a cooling water outlet, and the bearing box is cooled by cooling water supplied to the cooling jacket through the cooling water inlet.

摘要： A bearing housing is provided with a cooling channel in at least part of the circumference around the bearing. The cooling channel is provided with a flow guide member at least in part of its flow section to construct a tortuous passage whose flow distance is longer than the corresponding circumferential length of the flow section. On the basis of the above-mentioned bearing housing, the present invention also provides a bearing housing unit, a continuous casting roll line and a continuous casting machine that use the bearing housing. The above-mentioned bearing housing adopts an optimized cooling channel design, which can obtain a better cooling effect without changing other structures of the bearing housing. Therefore, it is particularly suitable for upgrading existing equipment and has a huge cost advantage and a wide range of application prospects.

In the region before the end of the casting machine, a number of segment rollers are lifted off from the surface of the slab, or are not installed in receptacles provided, and so the contact between the slab and the segment roller is interrupted or there is no contact.

摘要： A roll for continuous casting comprises a cylindrical roll rotatably mounted on a fixed axle and having a cooling chamber that surrounds the axle for receiving a flow of coolant. The axle is mounted on a roll support system. The roll support system comprises a first roll support connected to a coolant supply system and a second roll support connected to a coolant drain system. The axle comprises a first inlet connected to the first roll support, a first outlet connected to the coolant chamber, a second inlet connected to the coolant chamber, and a second outlet connected to the second roll support. A coolant flow circuit has a flow path from the coolant supply system to the coolant drain system through the first roll support, the first inlet, the first outlet, the coolant chamber, the second inlet, the second outlet, and the second roll support.

Each bearing journal is provided with a plain bearing designed as a hollow journal, and can be connected to the coolant supply line to conduct coolant through the hollow journal into or out of the coolant channel. The plain bearing is lubricated by coolant conducted through the bearing journal. A roller assembly for a strand casting system is provided with a plurality of guide rollers. The guide rollers are arranged at an axial distance from each other along a strand produced by the strand casting system and are each rotatably supported in a respective bearing mount. Each bearing mount is arranged on at least one frame part in a preloaded manner The bearing mounts are supported on the frame parts so as to be self-setting by elastically pliable connecting structure.

The method includes a step of carrying out reduction on a slab having an unsolidified part by horizontal rolls and a step of alternatively carrying out reduction on the slab completely solidified by horizontal rolls and vertical rolls, wherein in the former step, reduction ratio of the slab is more than 0.5% and no more than 3% and a ratio of a width of the unsolidified part at the cross section of the slab to a width of a contact part of the slab and the rolls is 0 to 7.15, and in the latter step, each reduction ratio of the slab by the rolls is 5.4% to 6.8%.

摘要： The invention relates to metal solidification and continuous casting, in particular to a back-up roll device and method for conducting corner deformation on a chamfered continuous casting slab. The back-up roll device comprises back-up rolls with α-angle bevels, movable bearing seats, bearing seat moving rails, bearing seat motion holding mechanisms and inner arc or outer arc frames of a casting machine. The back-up rolls are arranged on the inner and/or outer arc frames of the horizontal segment of the casting machine. Support surfaces of the back-up rolls make contact with and squeeze smaller obtuse angles adjacent to the wide face of the inner or outer arc on the chamfered continuous casting slab, and therefore each smaller obtuse angle is squeezed into two larger obtuse angles. The back-up roll device and method for conducting corner deformation on the chamfered casting slab can achieve the purposes of eliminating edge slivers.

摘要： A roll (1) for supporting and conveying hot material, including a roll element that has a roll jacket (2) made of a basic material and a wear coat which is applied to the basic material by means of a surface welding process (4) using a welding additive which surrounds the surface of the roll jacket. In order to increase the service life of the wear coat, improve the resistance to wear, and reduce the cost for producing the welded-on surface. The basic material of the roll jacket (2) is steel and contains up to 0.45 percent of C. The welded-on surface (4) is designed as a single-layer weld, and the wear coat contains 12.5 to 14.0 percent of Cr at least in an external zone that surrounds the surface of the roll jacket. Also disclosed are a method for producing the roll (1), a method for repairing a used roll (1), a welding additive and a welding rod for producing the welded-on surface.
