摘要： An irrigation machine distribution pipeline is protected against corrosion by a plastic liner within a steel pipeline. Access openings are spaced along the pipeline and aligned with apertures in the plastic liner. The liner extends the full length of the pipeline. The outside diameter of the liner is sufficiently less than the inside diameter of the pipeline to allow the liner to slide into the pipeline during installation of the liner. A plurality of plastic outlet fittings extend through each access opening and aperture. Each outlet fitting is in sealing engagement with the plastic liner and provides fluid communication from the interior of the plastic liner through the aperture to the exterior of the pipeline. With this construction none of the steel components of the pipeline comes in direct contact with the water.

摘要： A spray nozzle assembly has a main nozzle body defining a socket having a part-spherical surface. A nozzle ball is mounted within the nozzle socket and, in known manner a collar or the like is used to secure the ball in position. To provide an adequate seal between the nozzle ball and the nozzle body, a sealing lip is provided on the nozzle ball. This lip extends radially outwardly beyond the nozzle ball. The lip can be in the form of a cone tangential with the spherical surface. This sealing configuration can be used for other purposes, and is generally applicable to providing a connection between two fluid conduits, which are required to meet at an angle that is adjustable.

摘要： A gas-liquid contacting apparatus in which spray nozzles for spraying slurry solution upward are arranged in a tower body through which gas passes, wherein a liquid inlet portion of the spray nozzle is of a bell shape having a radius of curvature of 0.2 times or more of the diameter of a liquid discharge port of the spray nozzle, and a ceramic nozzle support structure comprises: (A) a ceramic nozzle having a ridge portion on the outer peripheral surface of a nozzle body; (B) a tightening flange including a flange body having an aperture larger than the outside shape of the nozzle body and a central cylindrical portion extending substantially concentrically with the nozzle body from lower surface of the flange body, the tightening flange having through holes in the wall of central cylindrical portion thereof; (C) a support nozzle consisting of a cylindrical body having an inside diameter larger than the central cylindrical portion of tightening flange and connected to the tightening flange by bolting via the flange body at the upper portion of the cylindrical body; and (D) an elastomeric resin filled in a space between the nozzle and the support nozzle so that the outside and inside of the central cylindrical portion of tightening flange are integrated via the through holes.

The adjustable riser member includes (1) a main support body assembly; (2) a riser assembly mounted in the main support body assembly for longitudinal movement therein; (3) a threaded support assembly mounted in the main support body assembly; and (4) a seal assembly mounted on a top portion of the main support body assembly. The support water enters a lower end of the main support body assembly and flows through an upper end of the riser assembly for discharge into the yard sprinkler head. The riser assembly is rotatable in the threaded support assembly for longitudinal adjustment thereof with the seal assembly preventing any water leakage from the main support body assembly.
