摘要： One aspect relates to a device for producing a bone cement paste from a monomer liquid and a cement powder as parent components of the bone cement paste and for delivering the mixed bone cement paste. The device has a cartridge with a cylindrical interior. The interior of the cartridge is closed at a front side apart from a delivery opening for discharging the bone cement paste. In the interior of the cartridge a delivery plunger is arranged which is pushable in the direction of the delivery opening. The cement powder is arranged in the interior of the cartridge between the delivery opening and the delivery plunger. A hollow cylinder is arranged at a front side of the delivery plunger facing the delivery opening. The hollow cylinder is open at its front face facing the delivery opening and extends from the front side of the delivery plunger at least 3 mm into the interior of the cartridge.

摘要： A mixer gun system includes a holder cap configured to separately store components in separate chambers. The components are selectively releasable through channels fluidly communicating with the separate chambers. The components are constituent materials for a bone cement mixture. A body forms a mixing chamber and is configured to receive the holder cap. The mixing chamber includes an opening corresponding with the channels for the separate chambers. A piston is disposed within the mixing chamber. A plunger is coupled to the piston and is configured to be biased toward the mixing chamber such that when the components are released into the mixing chamber a pressure developed by a biased motion of the plunger and piston infuses the components to form bone cement. Upon resetting the plunger and the piston, the bone cement is dispensed from the mixing chamber by the same biased motion. Methods of use are disclosed.

摘要： A system and method determine color of skin of a subject and produce a customized cosmetic based at least in part on the determined color of skin. A region of skin is covered with a chamber having an open area facing the skin. The skin is illuminated with light caused to enter the chamber. The light is caused to be dispersed within the chamber. A camera is used to record an image of a portion of the dispersed light in the chamber and the recorded image is processed to characterize the color of the skin. The recorded image includes a plurality of colors which are mapped to the closest color recipe. The color recipe is used to calculate actuator displacements for a portioning machine that includes a cartridge having cosmetic additives that produce the customized cosmetic.

摘要： Devices and methods mix a bone cement and comprise at least one cartridge, wherein the cartridge comprises in its interior a cylindrical mixing chamber, a discharge piston movable in the cylindrical mixing chamber in the longitudinal direction and sealable against the walls of the mixing chamber, a mixing device for thoroughly mixing the content of the mixing chamber, which is arranged in the interior of the mixing chamber. The mixing device is operable externally via a mixing rod and the mixing rod is guided through a passage in the discharge piston such that it can be rotated and displaced in the longitudinal direction by the discharge piston. The cartridge comprises a discharge opening opposite the discharge piston, wherein, in the mixing chamber, a first component is contained between the discharge piston and the discharge opening, wherein a monomer fluid as a second component is introducable through the discharge opening into the mixing chamber. The device further comprises a locking element with which the mixing rod is affixable to the discharge piston such that the discharge piston is movable by means of the mixing rod in the mixing chamber in the longitudinal direction.
