摘要： This invention is a low pressure, steady volume supply static mixer manifold for a high pressure pump. The design comprises an internal diffuser cylindrical tube inside an external rectangular tube in which static mixing occurs. Capped at one end, the internal diffuser pipe, with flow coming from the opposite side, allows for one flow direction diffused into the outer rectangular tube that then allows for constant bidirectional flow at a constant pressure throughout. The flow of slurry components between the cylindrical tube and the rectangular tube supports static mixing in part by creating alternating flow pressures between mixing ports (allowing flow of slurry components from the cylindrical tube) and the exit ports based on the different geometries of the cylindrical tube and rectangular tube. The combination of flow and pressure exiting the cylindrical tube through the mixing ports, at an angle to the bottom corners of the outer rectangular tube, creates a natural agitation of the slurry components. The cutouts in the inner tube are sized and spaced for providing the proper flow, mix, and pressure to each exit port.

In one embodiment, the apparatus includes a fluid mixing device with a pipe having a pipe wall and an axial bore for conveying fluids through the pipe. The fluid mixing device also includes a sleeve disposed about the pipe and a cavity provided between an exterior surface of the pipe and an interior surface of the sleeve. 摘要： A container with two inner chambers (6, 7) running in its longitudinal direction and separated by at least one partition wall. An aerobic adhesive is stored in one inner chamber (6). A hydrophilic, gel-like activator is stored in the other inner chamber (7); a mixing unit can be attached to the front end of the container. The aerobic adhesive is fed to the mixing unit from the first inner chamber (6), and the hydrophilic activator is fed to the mixing unit from the second inner chamber (7), in a specified mixing ratio via a supply device and mixed together there. This mixture is discharged via an outlet opening (13) of the mixing unit.

摘要： A dry powder and liquid mixing apparatus provides a dry powder container integratable with a liquid container, and a lid engaging both the dry powder container and the liquid container to enable selectable storage and mixing of powder and liquid, such as mixing dry infant formula with water. Through simple manual twisting of the lid about the liquid container to a closed state, a user is able to selectively prevent mixing of stored dry powder and liquid. Likewise, through simple manual twisting of the lid about the liquid container to an opened state, a user is able to selectively enable mixing of the dry powder with the liquid, by shaking the apparatus while the lid is in an opened state, resulting in a consumable mixed formula.

Additionally, the multi-chamber container includes a compliant mechanism movable between a first position and a second position and a plunger movable with the compliant mechanism to alter or remove the barrier. In the first position, the barrier is operable to maintain the first liquid composition and the second liquid composition separate from one another. In the second position, the plunger is operable to alter or remove the barrier to facilitate contact of the first liquid composition and the second liquid composition.

摘要： A dispenser (1) includes a container (3) for the storage of a liquid, a gas cartridge receiving portion (5) for holding a gas cartridge (4) so that the contents of the container may be pressurized by gas in a gas cartridge, a dispensing arrangement for dispensing the liquid as a spray. The dispenser includes an activator (13) for moving a gas cartridge so that the gas cartridge is in position to pressurize the container, and an inhibitor (17) which inhibits movement of the dispensing arrangement. The activator is associated with the inhibitor so that movement of the inhibitor from the first to second inhibitor positions causes the activator to move the gas cartridge so that the gas cartridge is in position to pressurize the container.
